  1. I remember that, Didn't Coddington's initial fame come from his builds with Buttera?
  2. Not yet, the ISP might before too long as well as the "unmarked" kit once we get that one in. That'll depend on if I need to just patch or completely replace the right rear tire on my XJ, it managed to pick up a bolt on the past week:blink:
  3. Just thought I'd post these here too, they're pics of the two we got in at work http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v698/bjoehandley/Plastic%20Models/Lindberg%20Police%20Chargers/
  4. Wonder how closely the tech guys would look that one over
  5. Here's the pics of the boxes we got in. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v698/bjoehandley/Plastic%20Models/Lindberg%20Police%20Chargers/
  6. The HTU I work for got the Illinois State Police and Philly Traffic enforcement cars in today. Box art cars look.....odd.... from what I remember of the Testors R/T and Daytona kits I'll try to get some pics of the box art and post them tonight. I'd buy the ISP model, but I need to get a tire patched on the Jeep, it seems to have picked up a bolt in the right rear from somewhere
  7. IIRC the RMX kit will have the AWD with Mitsubishi engine, while the AMT model has the basic Chrysler 2.0l 4 cylinder with a turbo conversion on it (which I guess it correct for the car used in the movie.) I'd have loved to fit the "Neon" head to the 2.2 block in one of the Daytonas, but the AMT engine was just horrible IIRC.
  8. I couldn't remember his name, but knew he was part of Spinal Tap.
  9. I honestly think that has to be one of the best comedy scenes on tv, between Homer and Marge giggling about making out to that "hymn", everybody getting more and more haggered while singing, Lovejoy (who is voiced by a member of Spinal Tap)saying that it sounded like it might be Rock and/or Roll, then the organist passing out at the end, it's just entertaining..........too bad they don't have a full 15-17 minute version of that
  10. Think of it this way, at least we now have the web to watch this stuff on even though it's not on any form of television, that would have been a pipe dream for me just 10 years ago!
  11. Do you know Doug Demars or Mark Minter by chance then?
  12. Wasn't that a hymn? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PyBWLALFLQ&feature=related
  13. Dang it, not another must have kit
  14. "Fiberglass, bad for cars, bad for boats" Leroy "Jethro" Gibbs
  15. Is that a resin transkit, or did you convert the body yourself?
  16. You're working way quicker than me, it took me a few days and I had to re-read you first post a second time before I started to connect the dots
  17. That '65 stepside is a nice kit and have thought about buying one, Did you buy it in Chicago by chance?
  18. You're not the only one, I'd even consider a "Werecar" Bender from the 300 too
  19. They're both Proline Racing's Lexan 1992 Jeep Cherokee bodies made to fit the Axial SCX10, and they now make a couple '92 Comanche P/U's to fit the "Honcho" Tacoma cabbed, bedless p/u version of the SCX10.
  20. My Traxxas Ford Fiesta Rally came in today and I picked up the 2.4 Link reciever, second battery, parallel adapter, and some AA's so I can drive it tonight I did strip the sticker graphics though, thought they were UGLY!
  21. This kit was cleaner than I thought, no glaring sink marks and the seams were just noticeable enough to need cleaning up, so I debadged it at the same time....not like anybody wouldn't know it's a Viper without those there The Super Clean did a fantastic jot of stripping the paint and primer off the front bumper! Now all I have to do is re prime and paint the bumper then!
  22. I think I want one or three of these!
  23. While there's a distinct lack of Mopars in the list, that's no excuse to not re-power one of those kits with some Mo-Power
  24. Looks like the pond is doing it's thing, should be able to rinse it off and re-prime the part tomorrow!
  25. Woodland Scenics does make artificial snow, kinda looks like it could be that stuff http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/785-140
