  1. Perhaps a Supervan Or a XJ220 Transit
  2. Best of luck to you and yours Mike!
  3. Kinda Harry, might be partially his fault I'm getting back into drawing too! I got hooked on drawing art-deco-esk cars, Kustoms, and hot rods back when Clinton was still in office and I was still working for Toy's "R" Us, but after taking a couple art classes '01-'02 I just lost the interest in doing stuff like this all together for the past several years I'd try to put ideas to paper and all I did was waste materials. Well, for some odd reason I was at the Office Depot next to work a couple of times buying a Cherry Coke and Reeses Peanutbutter Cups and did a quick sketch on a test pad they had by the register, then got bored at work a few days ago and banged out a few rough sketches of the above style cars and a mid 50's domestic style car on a pad of paper. Next day I went next door before work and picked up a pad of paper, some colored pencils, and some erasers and ended up drawing those cars out that night. Not sure why I decided to pick this back up again, but I've already knocked out a couple more sketches since then. Here those are; My attempts at a "Hot Hatch" and a small Mini Van Then a heavily worked over Merc
  4. So I got my hands on a pencil and some drawing paper and sketched these up between 3:30 and 4:15 am this morning;
  5. Was that car built for the movie, or does it actually belong to somebody?
  6. I'm going to be watching this one!
  7. Somebody is looking for a sucker, and I seriously hope he don't find one! If you want a good RC vehicle, go visit your LHS and look at HPI, Traxxas, Axial, Losi, Associated, ect.
  8. Eh, a little from Column A and a little from Column B
  9. Finally got around to taking a new pic of my '98 Cherokee, with my '92 Cherokee bodied Wheely King (blue XJ) and Axial SCX10 (Green XJ) today after taking the little Jeep out and running them.
  10. Hey Greg, that first car is an Australian Ford Falcon that had been brought to the states, and at some point in it's life been converted into the Mad Max Melbourne Police "Super" Interceptor
  11. Looks good!
  12. Somebody on another forum mentioned something about somebody who decided to kill themselves that way The handed the operator his wallet and phone then dove in head first
  13. I was pretty sure that's what it was before hand, I seam to remember one guy bought one after waiting a good length of time for it, and paying cash for it, just to have the thing burn up before he got the thing home Just found this, thought it would be good for a laugh! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygCxBf_SiaA&feature=related
  14. Well, they could have though you were a more stylish MacGuyver Junkman
  15. One thing I have thought about is getting a couple brass nuts form the hardware store and doing something to leave them out all winter long (maybe tie them to the back of my Jeep) and see what it looks like come spring. I might try to hit some with ammonia as well too, thanks guys!
  16. How did you not smack any of them?
  17. I've got a 1/8 T-Bucket from Revell that I've thought about doing as a bit of a beater rod, might even hit the hardware store for a couple brass nuts to hang from the bed or rear crossmember too
  18. All the ones I've bought were that 90's era primer grey.
  19. What's the best way to replicate that on a part that might be in normal chrome?
  20. Depending on how ba the build quality, it could very well be very jiggly!
  21. That Fiat kinda reminded me of the pink Jeep used in "Blue Hawaii", and it turns out it was the inspiration for them too! http://www.film.queensu.ca/CJ3B/Siblings/SurreyGala.html
  22. Not bad, styling wise it's far better than the Pontiac Aztec and previous BMW Z4 or current Mercedes SLK and I kinda dig that the steering wheel grip matches the tread pattern of the tires.............and yes I'm sober, awake, and not currently blinded in any way right now Now that I think of it, that kinda looks like something sold at Toy's "R" Us for toddlers when I worked there 10 years ago though
  23. Well, instead of chest thumping you into a heart attack or trying to knock your head off you shoulders like some airbags do, the ones in this car just might blow the uni-body apart when they deploy, especially if they're as potent as the pre-'99 US spec bags
  24. My god, I actually know this one! I'll be emailing you tonight Harry!
