  1. Those pop from time to time, not a horrible thing considering the other kind or procession seen over this!
  2. Nope, I'm still working from home, sounds like we'll be doing so until June.
  3. Am I seeing things, or does that last one look like it's had an "enhancement" product recently
  4. Got this today! I am having some issues with getting it to be a phone at this time...... Somehow between Best Buy and Verizon, I was set up on an all new account vs getting a SimCard for the cell number I’ve had for nearly 20 years
  5. Wow, look at all those station wagons!
  6. Here's the Minivan Dad bought this week, as well as the one he traded. The new one is a 2020 Grand Caravan SE Plus, and it is a stripper! Only power options are, the 3.6l Pentastar (not flex fuel, unfortunetly), windows, locks, and driver seat. It doesn't have the motorized doors like the old van did, but the driver side on the '06 quit working too, soooooo. He wasn't happy with how it drove on the way home and felt it was too "floaty" and old school American Land Yacht like, but we made a Portillo's run and I thought it drove fine and did run it nearly as hard as I would my 200 and about the same as I ran my Jeep back in the day and didn't notice that it felt too wobbly on curves for a heavy minivan though. And yes, that is snow in the second pic, it snowed here on Wednesday and Friday mornings this week in Northern Illinois
  7. Those last 2 were really good, and it's not like the vast majority of these were bad in the first place
  8. Still working 8.5hrs a day from home and it looks like I'll be working 8am-1pm next Saturday on top of that, so barring a another sick or computer issue day, that should be a nice paycheck! Other than that, I've only left the property to go to the store over the weekends or to get food for Dad and myself if he doesn't get the chance to cook while I'm on the phone all day. He's gone to the store during the "Senior Hours" multiple times, went to get my Sister's help with Mom's taxes a couple times and just went and traded his slowly dying '06 Town and Country for a '20 Grand Caravan in basically the same metallic/pearl black the last couple days. I still don't go out just to "drive", but I do "let the horses run", within reason, in when I can get out of the house
  9. I heard about that today, I was kinda surprised it happened, then again, I was surprised by snow too. All that said, it was nice not having to clean the snow off my car to go to work today?
  10. I think that might be David, but the quality is poor enough I can't tell for sure.
  11. A friend of mine is a teacher's assistant for the special needs teacher near where he lived in Michigan, he's missing the kids from his school too, I think he's been home for a month now too.
  12. Got the rest of the parts to do the tune up on my 200, had the MSD coils and stock plugs for a couple weeks now, but I got the new Mahle gaskets earlier this week and the P.U.G. lower intake manifold showed up while I had the 200 out for fuel, a wash, and a more expensive than planned Walmart trip today.
  13. That’s why Dad and I skipped the last meeting and I tried to stay away from him when I was sick last week and now Dad decided to hold off now the memorial for Mom in Iowa we were going to do in September too. He figures that we’ve just lost Mom, don’t need to add anybody else to that list with all that’s happening now!
  14. Yeah, it sounds like the Algonquin Township Hall is closed right now because of this, which would hit both C.A.R.S. in Minature and GTR. Dad and I skipped the March meeting, tonight's won't be happening because of this and it sounds like they're not sure about a May meeting from how the email sounded!
  15. It's funny that you post that, in the last near 3 weeks I've lost weight without exercising! I figure some of it is due to illness (bronchitis) and not reallly wanting to eat in general, then not bothering to eat lunch on those breaks while working, the phones being to busy to even think about snacking (just sipping water and pop is difficult enough!), only drinking meal replacement shakes for breakfast, and only having dinner as an actual meal! One problem I do have is that I was in need of a haircut and a shave when this started, and I can shave here once I feel good enough to go into the basement where the clippers are (this beard is coming off!) Now, if I don't get my haircut by the time we're working at the office again, I may have to put my hair into a pony tail until I can get it cut
  16. I'm sure he does, listening to some of the things Dad has talked about and your Brother in Law has to be pretty similar stories, it's amazing how aweful these can be and how it doesn't mentally hit the workers harder than it does.
  17. Like this?! For you guys that like Floyd, check these guys out? They've got some amazing covers that they do too?
  18. I had recently read that somebody has commited suicide already, but they had issues that were exacerbated by the shelter in place order he was under. Now that said, If there is alcohol involved, I wouldn't be shocked. When Dad was still working in the railroad industry, he mainly worked track maintenence and was present for many car/train collision investigations between the two roads he worked for. He's felt that many of them, especially when alcohol was involved, were more likely suicides than not. His theory is that many of them are people who are suicidal, but can't just do the deed without alcohol to act as a form of "liquid courage", so they would get tanked and drive onto the tracks figuring what the insurance didn't cover would be covered by their family suing the RR for wrongful death........which always works since the lawyers folded like tacos.
  19. There are already seeing increases in severe crashes, seems that a lot of people are hauling tail and crashing harder when things go wrong. I've seen it blamed on street racers, but it seems to be random motorists who just seem to think the empty roads are and let loose, but can't handle the vehicle at what ever the speeds were.
  20. I showed Dad one of Bisi's videos for this car and he wasn't the least bit shocked that he can only get 140miles out of a charge instead of the 180 miles he wants. The way Bisi talked about that instant torque then giggle everytime he dropped hammer and the car rocketed off.
  21. How about Bisimoto’s EV Swapped 935?! https://bisimoto.com/935-k3v/
  22. Oh, those are funny
  23. How about some Old and in the Way then?!
  24. A '66 or '67 Charger and a C8 Vette, first one of the latter I've seen in the wild too!
