Thanks, I'm feeling much better, just a bit rank and will be getting cleaned up after this! The P.U.G. lower intake I ordered through Summit is because my Advance couldn't get it and I ordered the gaskets at the same time. I already ordered and received the MSD Coil Packs Champion plugs through Advance before we had to quarentine and got some stuff for the Jeep there before it became a lost cause.......got a good bunch guys at that store, TBH!

7My employer's call centers have been busy for the last 4 weeks anyway, but as we lost staff to school closings and a lot of staff working from home, things got worse and have stayed busy through the last 2 weeks I've been working from home. Starting 3 weeks ago, we've been working O/T be it in the office or our residences and the only things tht have held me back the last couple weeks was illness and one day that I couldn't connect to Corporate the first week.....luckily I was able to try and sleep off what I had between attempts to log in that day but had to take nearly 2 full days off this week due to what may have been Bronchitis and shortness of breath.......again. I can say this though, between my tax refund, not really spending money before and after work, the extra hours, and now this pending assistance check, I'vd been able to order the rest of the stuff needed for the 200's tune up and upgrade parts, some new t-shirts, and get Dad a 1/24 scale Axial Scale truck he was wanting with a matching one for myself. Should still have the funds left over to get a new cell phone, once we can shop normally again, since my Galaxy S5 if getting very long in the tooth. May even look at getting coilovers to replace the factory struts in the 200 since those stock pieces are getting long in the tooth too.

Gotta agree with TJ, a bunch of us are on Instagram and there is A LOT of plastic content from around the globe on there to boot. I’m currently using the handle BJoe1976 on there if you guys want to start with folks you know!

I think those were some big dollar rigs, especially the F1/Indy style one Jimmy Johnson had.

And when my last job ended, that's why I left my keys on the counter while the store owner watched then walked away. Didn't want to flip that switch, but at least the customer he was working with at the time was an offduty paramedic (and somebody I had worked at Toys "R" Us when he was a teen) if there had been issues!

Probably the same thing Dad did growing up in the 40's, just had to make sure not to use the shiny pages

You'll probably want a really good primer then. -

Pactra paints are around, just as R/C lacquers instead. -
My Dad has watched the last 2 Nascar races, he really seems to enjoy them and found those to be better than some of the more recent ones he's watched before this Corona Virus stuff started.

Probably better tired on reversed, possibly even chromed wheels that were all wider than stock, maybe change in altitude and sound ss well as suspension stiffness depending on what a car like that was going to be doing and legality of the work? -
Housebound?

The whole not leaving home thing isn't bothering me yet, although I wasn't feeling good when I got off the phones yesterday and went and laid down for a few hours, then since I felt worse by the time we had dinner, I checked my temp before going to bed and found I had a fever of 100.3°? That said, I woke up about 5am cst and feel much better right now! I am going back to bed until I need to be up to get back on the phones though. -

Changing Times, Changing Tastes

Um, I did not intend to talk down on that C-Body and have seen them referred to as C-Barges in Mopar magazines over the years, usually it was in reference to the platform, as in C-Body and large size and more boat, IE barge, like nature of those cars vs the typical A, B, and E body muscle cars or pocket rocket nature of the hotter L-body and K-chassis cars, or even the Neons that replaced those. -

Outside of engine parts, there isn't much interchangeable there. The L-Body is a whole different chassis than the K-Car based G-Body and then they're 5 years or more apart on top of it. -
We’ve had a couple hit near Chicago, last one woke me up at 1am and felt like somebody hit the house so hard I almost went down to see if Mom and Dad were ok......but I had been afraid to move in case the house was damaged enough from the hit that I might end up down there anyway, with my bed and half of my room. A couple days later I was talking with a Korean War Vet I knew and he told me he made his wife get up and they spent the night in their car in case of aftershocks. He also said that after Korea, he lived in California for a while and knew what could happen! The shaker before that was also in the middle of the night and woke me up, nut I though that might have been some jerk with more stereo than brain cells that had it cranked to 22 as he rolled by. Discovered it was a quake the next day when when a then local DJ that had lived in California at one time with her husband and both were woken up and much like my above friend, knew exactly what happened but weren’t sure if they had to respond in the same way they did in Cali.

Much like MartinFan, I’m in agreement here 100% I do buy models of older kits, but I would like to have more modern options, especially on the US Domestic side of things. I don’t care if it’s a Widebody LX car, modern Unibody Jeeps some of these new EVs (I’m quite fond of Chevy’s little Bolt EV and would buy at least a few in kit form), or even just reissues of the 80’s and 90’s annuals!

Changing Times, Changing Tastes

That is an interesting picture, on the left appears to be a mid-late 60’s C-Barge convertable, to the right of the Purple Plymouth is a ‘73-‘87 GM “Square Body” pickup, which has a healthy following, no matter the age group, the those two little FWD Mopars in the middle, the one that’s opened up appears to be a Shelby American built pre-turbo L-Body Shelby Charger, denoted by the 15x6 4 Lug “Pizza Wheels” (the later Pizza wheels were 5 lug and still 15x6) which would have had a carved 2.2l with either the head or block shaved a bit to bump compression for around 110hp, advertised and special Shelby specific handling package while the white and silver car next to it is a Dodge Daytona ES, late 80’s to early 90’s, but I can’t tell if it’s a 2.5l NA, 2.5l Turbo I, 2.2l Turbo II, 2.2l Turbo IV, or a 3.0l Mitsubishi V6 from that pic. -

At least they’re both V8 powered, plus the Taurus would be quicker, faster, handle better and draw less unwanted attention -

That's why I'm thrilled not to be in retail any more. Who knows what could be walking in those doors as it is, let along hitching a ride in! One thing that was unexpected at first though is that at work our lunches are being cut to 30 min from 60 and going to Mandatory OverTime, so it should be 2.5 hours if time and a half per week until this is over or we have to shut Customer Service down because of this!
