  1. That's a really nice barn. Don't see those much. Deer? See them all the time.
  2. Movie? See "Only the Brave." Stunning. Moving. Amazing. Nothing will irk you for a long time to come.
  3. Been too long, my friend. We gotta get caught up. Modelzona 11/4/17 ? DSC 4/14/18 ? When's the next action in LV ? May ?
  4. The Lovely and Gracious Mrs. B can never remember the name . . . she just calls it "the Yellow Store." In my wife-to-English dictionary that means "Harbor Freight." I'm selective with what I buy there and everything I've purchased does a good enough job for what I what and need, but I wouldn't buy high-dollar important equipment or things needed professionally. Biggest snafu I've had with Harbor Fright purchases was when I bought a cheapo weed-whacker for a one-time use. Discovered you can't get replacement spools anywhere! ANYWHERE! I don't have enough life-span left to sit around rewinding filament. Went out and spent twice as much on a Black & Decker but at least I can buy pre-wound spools for it! Little hand tools and folding chairs are GREAT at the Freight!
  5. April 14 is the 14th Annual DESERT SCALE CLASSIC in North Phoenix. Just sayin' . . . if your travel calendar is already set, it's out of your timeframe. All of the places mentioned are great! IF you get to Flagstaff, it is a neat town with lots to do and see. And, Williams is at the South end of the Grand Canyon Railroad. Another neat town with lots to do and see. Just outside Williams is Bearazona wild animal refuge. Amazing!! Check it out.
  6. 10-4 to all the comments, including Xingu's.
  7. And there you go! Thanks, G
  8. Stunning model, Art! AMAZING!!
  9. Closest reference I could find readily is a '76 Plymouth. Probably typical graphics for the 70's as graphics didn't change much in those days. Looks like the unit number (or, car number) may be on the trunklid above the right taillight, as well as on the roof. Anybody else?
  10. Too cool, Dan! Even 'Bullet' looks great! Good job!
  11. Sweet.
  12. Most excellent, Jim!
  13. Very true, Mark. I've been in the business (first responder, both law enforcement and fire/rescue) for north of 4-1/2 decades now. The lovely and gracious Mrs. B often expresses complete bewilderment over things I have had to deal with; she just can't comprehend how people can do such-and-such to other people. I remind her that she's looking at it from the perspective of a normal, well-adjusted, ethical, compassionate adult. Most of the people who do the unimaginable are anything but normal, well-adjusted, ethical, compassionate adults.
  14. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, my, my, my! That is bitchin'! You will git 'er done. You will! Time to spare. 196 days . . .
  15. Pictures? Pretty please?
  16. Gotta love NASCAR! Nip it in the bud.
  17. Hey, Tim! Welcome aboard the Board.

    STUDE SNAFU

    Nice!
  19. One of my favorite Hawai'ian terms is "Mahalo nui Loa." My good friend Gregg told me this account: It seems that many public trash receptacles in Hawai'i display the phrase "Mahalo nui Loa" on the hinged doors. Many tourists apparently assume the phrase means "Trash." In fact, it means "Thank You, Very Much." It gives him ~ and other Islanders ~ many chuckles. I perverted it by telling Gregg I sometimes enjoy Trash-Talking, Mahalo nui Loa.
  20. If you want it back, get LoJack!
  21. SWEET!!!
  22. Hey, Rob! Good to hear from you. Congrats on your presidency, Your Honor. Congratulations to your club on its 50th birthday. As Wayne noted, Moonlight keeps model-motoring along (34 years old) ~ even with a lot of changes the past year. We miss you and your clean police car builds! Cactus Car Modelers Club is still going strong, and Desert Scale Classic just gets bigger and better every year! Glad you and your family are doing well. Best to all, ~Dan~
