I went last night & picked up 2 Foose 56 pickups & some other odds & ends. The best part of the trip was watching a father & son (the kid had to be about 13) pick out a fox body Mustang kit and all the paints and supplies to build it. Next gen builders are still out there.

I drove the kids for a 3 hour ride (each way) to get this little fuzzball "Pepper" yesterday. My son has one of her cousins "Mia" who's 8 now. They don't live with us but he still has his room and visits alot which is great. My daughter wanted a dog & we told her no, so her older brother just now decided his dog needs someone to play with. Ya, ok, I'm old but not stupid. It's not that I don't want a dog, I just hate that they don't last long enough. I guess I'm selfish & want more time with them, it's crazy how attached you become to these animals. Someone needs to figure out how to make them live as long as a tortoise or parrot.

I've seen some AMAZING el camino style projects lately (Steve H Olds & BIGTRUCK Buick) and I know there has been many more. I thought it would be cool for everyone to post your "should have been" el camino style trucks here. I've done a Charger & Camaro but I can't find any pics of them so I'll start it off with my 65 GTO I built years ago.

First pic is my grandfather in the drivers seat in their down hill racer that the neighborhood kids built back in the mid 20s. Second is my father (tall guy in the back) letting the neighbor take his Indian for a ride.

Thanks Bill, I'm a huge fan of your builds. Yeah, the wheel lift, boom, winch, bed sides & bumper are all stuff I built. The lift pivots and everything slides and adjusts for the vehicle being towed. I made it so it can be removed & the old smash & grab sling can be used too, that pivots and moves the way it should too.

This was a snowplow kit but I left the plow off. I built a Chevy like this a while ago and someone wanted one like it so this is what I came up with. I used a chopped up floor from a wrecker kit & built the rest. The person that's getting it is sending me the "Fat Mike's Towing" decals for the doors. I added some wires & hoses under the hood and some poor looking door panels. The last picture is of the other one. Thanks for looking.

Your dash looks great, I wish I could get one to look like that. I just built this kit as a wrecker and I was disappointed about the fact that there aren't any door panels. The Revell 76 Chevy sport truck kit came with decals for the dash & door panels, I would have thought they would add them to this kit too seeing how there just about the same kit. Here's my bad version of a door panel I added. Anyway, great looking truck I can't wait to see more!

I got the bumper for my GMC wrecker built & mounted, it just needs some more weathering.
