  1. Lets see what ya got, all of your builds are AMAZING! To everyone here, great work on all of these builds. The only thing wrong with them is that they aren't factory 1:1 cars and they should be!
  2. Hey Jerry, the first night Pepper was talking & howling all night long but not so much now. Mia on the other hand sings & talks all day long, I swear she thinks she's having a conversation with you.
  3. "not so new or shiny" Hey, that's my favorite kind of truck! Great job on this old workhorse.
  4. Great work Ken. I watched this in the wip section & was inspired to start a thread. If you don't mind I would love for you to add some pics of this beauty to it. Thanks, Mark
  5. I went last night & picked up 2 Foose 56 pickups & some other odds & ends. The best part of the trip was watching a father & son (the kid had to be about 13) pick out a fox body Mustang kit and all the paints and supplies to build it. Next gen builders are still out there.
  6. These are all awesome! GREAT WORK EVERYONE! Keep going guys, I need to see more.
  7. Cool! I like it. I see your a bit of a rustoholic too. It's a lot harder for me to make things look clean.
  8. Great looking truck! Thanks for sharing it.
  9. Great patina! I like everything about it.
  10. A true work of art that should have been a real vehicle. Oldsmobile really missed out on this great concept. Perfect in every way, man I wish I had your talent. If you don't mind could you post some pics in this topic too? Your WIP on this and some others was the reason I did it. Thanks, Mark
  11. I drove the kids for a 3 hour ride (each way) to get this little fuzzball "Pepper" yesterday. My son has one of her cousins "Mia" who's 8 now. They don't live with us but he still has his room and visits alot which is great. My daughter wanted a dog & we told her no, so her older brother just now decided his dog needs someone to play with. Ya, ok, I'm old but not stupid. It's not that I don't want a dog, I just hate that they don't last long enough. I guess I'm selfish & want more time with them, it's crazy how attached you become to these animals. Someone needs to figure out how to make them live as long as a tortoise or parrot.
  12. Thanks for all the great comments. Thanks Dave, I used the sophisticated finishes paint & blotted it on heavy for the thicker rust.
  13. Great job guys! Exactly what I was wanting to see. Keep um coming everyone, I know there's more out there!
  14. I've seen some AMAZING el camino style projects lately (Steve H Olds & BIGTRUCK Buick) and I know there has been many more. I thought it would be cool for everyone to post your "should have been" el camino style trucks here. I've done a Charger & Camaro but I can't find any pics of them so I'll start it off with my 65 GTO I built years ago.
  15. Nothing great, just more junk.
  16. Thanks for all the great comments everyone.
  17. Great work. It's nice to see something get repaired.
  18. I'm a big fan of the show but I think I'm a bigger fan of your work on this truck! Amazing job, Cooter would be proud!
  19. First pic is my grandfather in the drivers seat in their down hill racer that the neighborhood kids built back in the mid 20s. Second is my father (tall guy in the back) letting the neighbor take his Indian for a ride.
  20. Thanks, the last picture has the body from the Midnite Cowboy kit, the other one is scratch built.
  21. Thanks Bill, I'm a huge fan of your builds. Yeah, the wheel lift, boom, winch, bed sides & bumper are all stuff I built. The lift pivots and everything slides and adjusts for the vehicle being towed. I made it so it can be removed & the old smash & grab sling can be used too, that pivots and moves the way it should too.
