O.k. a couple of mine. The one on the back of Cooter's tow truck is one I built when I was a kid. The last one is my 1:1, hopefully one day to look like the "General Lee"

Thanks, I didn't take pics of the Caddy being built but the truck is on the first page of "on the workbench" & "under glass" in the truck sections. I'm not sure how to add a link, I'm not a computer guy at all.

Just a quick 4 day build from an ecto1 kit. I filled the rear windows & rotted it out. One more for the junkyard.

The bus might not be what you mean but I did a little on the interior. The slide in is scratch built & empty, no detail, but it was done probably 15-20 years ago. -
Thanks guys! I made some running boards, found some tools & a few other things so I think it's finished! I'll get some more pics posted underglass after work.

What a piece of junk. It's perfect! Nice job. -
My wife found this & thought it would work in my garage diorama. She's right (of course) it's the right size & even works. She picked it up at Toys r Us.

50 Chevy Farm Truck
mchook replied to Tyler62990's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
I'm lovin this truck! Your weathering is top notch stuff. To me, the roof is crazy cool, it looks like the weather made it look that way. Very, Very real looking work. -
I'm pretty sure that if it had a shifting lever it either had a 2 speed rear, or an aftermarket trans like a Warford. My fathers old 25 TT had a 2 speed Ruckstell rear, Warford trans, Rocky Mountain brakes and a Waukesha head. They made lots of accessories for the Model T but if it doesn't have Ford script on the part it didn't come with it.

I'm going to finish this thing! I'm tired of looking at it! I've been working on it so it wont be long now.

Spot on old work truck! Great weathering, it looks so real! -
Thanks Carl. It's nothing fancy, mostly dremel work from the inside, slow & easy. I use "Sophisticated Finishes" paint & then weathering powders, chalks & dullcote paint to seal it. Thanks Bruce. The tires are done the old fashion way, with a candle. I heat it a little at a time pressing it on the table just as it begins to blister. Lots O' patience & practice.
