Are the '68-'69 Javelin kit bodies longer than the AMX bodies? The Javelin is a full 12 inches longer than the AMX.

Both kits claim to have stock interior. I don't have either kit. These pics are borrowed from WWW.

Jo-Han issued this kit in '68, C-2568: It is a Javelin SST, no mention of AMX on the box, as far as I know. This one was issued in 69, C-1169: Also listed as an SST.

I certainly hope to grab one of those kits! I have all the pickup kits of this bodystyle except the Lightning. The info I posted may, or may not be factual. It's just what I found on Wiki. It will be interesting to know what you find out when you dig into your info.

I have the convertible. It comes with interior tub and top boot cover. The rear seat area will need to be addressed, but it looks pretty good, otherwise. You could always build the short tracker into a trailer to match the coupe..... I recently did a project with a badly molded '65 GTO body: I have a good GTO kit to build that will match this trailer.

The '76 I had with the 400 V-8 got ten MPG. I rebuilt the carb....it ran much better....and got EIGHT MPG after I worked on it! That's with factory dual, no cat exhaust!
