  1. Those red inner fenders are unique. According to the article Shoopdog listed, it started with the '66 GTO, and they were sort of snap in liners. Olds one-upped Pontiac in '67 by making the whole inner fender out of red plastic. Pontiac and Olds offered them for the rear fenders, as well. I wonder why Chevy and Buick never used red inner fenders?
  2. Working so far on this old PC. Last night, I couldn't get the site to pull at all. This old PC is running Windows XP, version 2002. Never had a glitch on the android phone, or the newer PC, which is a Windows 10 unit. All three running on the same home network. I run the android on wi-fi at the house. On the Cricket network away from home, MCM forum still runs fine. I wonder if Windows XP might be part of the problem? EDIT: I see from the above post that Windows 10 shares the same problem.
  3. It works on the android phone, but keeps skipping out on the PC. It's running XP, also. First time for this kind of problem. All my other saved links are working. I just checked the newer PC and the forum is working on it. That computer is running Windows 10.
  4. I got dragged, kicking and screaming, into the local Goodwill yesterday by Mrs. Bucky. I found this in the toy aisle: No shrink wrap, but everything is in the box, including tires, chrome tree, and decals! All the white molded parts are still in the bags. Box is good, too. I've bought kits from hobby shops that didn't look this good. Grand total of $2.99. And then I got a 10% senior discount on top of that.
  5. I just had this happen on the old PC. Got in by doing Google search for modelcarsmag.com. Clicked on the forum button and it put me thru. My saved link won't work.
  6. Very sharp Oldsmobile! The red inner fenders are a characteristic of the W30 package. Red liners for the rear fenders were also a feature of the W30 package.
  7. I'm using a 15'x12' spare bedroom for a hobby room. I have shelves mounted to all four walls for the stash. I found a glass display case a few years ago. It is 6 feet long and has glass shelves. I need to add some more glass shelves to it. I also have a 4 foot case like it, but it's in storage. I'm also using a wood and glass barrister bookcase for display, but I'm hesitant about adding shelves to it. Needless to say, I barely have room to maneuver in there!
  8. Really looking forward to the day this one hits the market! Looks like the real one is running a pair of Gabriel air shocks! LoL Or, maybe they're Monroes!
  9. WOW! That's a new one on me! Maybe next time. LoL
  10. Hang in there...stay strong...be positive. I had a pacemaker installed in 2013. I know that's not as serious as a bypass, but I was just as nervous! Surgery went very smoothly, and I don't have any problems! These guys that wear the scrubs nowadays seem to be pretty well up on this stuff! LoL
  11. I've been up and down, health wise. Trying to sell this house full of stairs so we can move into a flat house! LoL
  12. I regularly take a beating on the shipping charges I charge. And eBay just hit me up for $50 worth of "fees". I do mostly auction type listings, so......I ain't gettin' rich over there! LoL I do know the post office is increasing their charges.
  13. This is one of the ultimate MOPARS! And you have done a beautiful rendition! I'm from a large family of MOPARITES, and one of my aunts had one of these tri-tone Dodges. It was the best looking car in the whole family!!!
  14. Yessir, it's me. You still live in Tennessee?
  15. Fine looking set of rollers!
  16. horror movie monsters
  17. Well...I really like that one, Stephen! I'm having a hard time even guessing what it is that you don't like about it!
  18. I personally wouldn't mind seeing a '66 Dodge Coronet 500 convertible. Some older pickups, and a few newer Ram trucks, and maybe some of the latest factory hot rod Charger and Challenger stuff.
  19. PayPal is all I use, both buying and selling.
  20. This article right here tells me they were factory installed.
  21. neighborhood gossip types
  22. That's a fabulous blue and white paint job! Didn't see that coming! I have one of these kits, and I've looked into it a few times, only to poke it back into the box. I have to say, I never had an idea that blue and white would look that good on it.
