  1. Boring?? If I could afford a 1:1 '68 442, I'd have one in my driveway. I think they are cool cars!
  2. It looks like the Magnum wheels were called Super Stock I wheels, and what I always called the "Rally" wheel is the Super Stock II and III.
  3. I see a lot of them with the Magnum wheels...one of my all-time favorite factory wheels. https://www.carid.com/1968-oldsmobile-442-factory-wheels/
  4. I like it when I finally get to spend some time at the bench after a pause in action. Sometimes, though, when I get some spare time, I'm just too blasted tired to go in the Hobby Room!! LOL
  5. Top Shelf job...and I love the Tennessee plates on it!
  6. Yeah, I goofed on that one!
  7. I passed up a 1965 Coronet 500 2 dr hardtop once, because it had tired dark red paint, and a broken A/C vent. $1200, and it wudda been mine. I've been kicking meself ever since!!
  8. I'm a great fan of Dodge "B" body cars, having owned 5, so I'll be watching this build. Bring it on! I have a few of these in the stash, also, and will be looking for pointers.
  9. Very cool pony car! Great color, and the stance is perfect!
  10. Beautiful results on this Riv!!

    MY Mach1

Very cool Mustang! One of my favorite colors! Well done!
  12. I made it to one Toledo show. I think it was in 1998, maybe? Wish I cudda attended more of them. I did get to attend and work at the Birmingham NNL shows for a few years. Had a great time doing so.
  13. This'll take care of that!
  14. Well done! Very unique!
  15. I would like to see the MPC 1972 RoadRunner get re-issued, for no other reason than to fill the void in year models in my stash. I have '68, '69, '70, '71, '73, '74, '75, the pseudo '76 version, '77-'80 Volare versions. I need the '72 to fill in the blank. I just looked on eBay, and there is one seller parting out a '72 MPC RoadRunner kit. There are several '71 kits being offered at around $200. Doesn't fit my budget.
  16. I got 'em, this time. Nice work going on with this project!
  17. I see one pic, of the driver's side showing the fender skirt.
  18. Looks great to me!
  19. Yessir....when RL gets in the way of building models. Happens to me a lot! LoL I've had a lot of RL issues over the past year and a half that kept me out of the HR (Hobby Room).
  20. Don't know that one, but "RL" stands for "Real Life".
  21. That probably has something to do with the pooling of the paint around the trim and edges, too.
