  1. ZZTop drove an old Chrysler down to Mexico. (Mexican Blackbird)
  2. The B52's had a Chrysler that seats about twenty! (Love Shack)
  3. Don't forget "Little Red Corvette", by Prince
  4. "Hot Rod Lincoln" "Mustang Sally" There was a song about a little Nash Rambler
  5. "Crazy 'Bout a Mercury"
  6. Are you asking for songs about cars, or songs that have a casual mention of a car?
  7. "Fun, fun, fun til Daddy takes the T-bird away"
  8. Would the REVELL '72 Cutlass underpinnings be compatible with the Jo-Han '68 4-4-2 body? I have a '68 promo I'm thinking about reworking, and I also have a REVELL '72 kit handy. I haven't had time to check the parts out together, and I haven't blown the promo apart yet, either.
  9. Well?? Didja pass, or fail?? LOL
  10. Very nice work on the trunk area. I'd like to see the attachment point for the trunk hinge. I might want to borrow your idea for a future project.
  11. Very well done! Top Shelf all the way!!
  12. Very nice work! Another of my "Grail" kits.
  13. Seriously?? Who does that?? Hahaha Great little detail that will show up well, I think!
  14. A real beauty!!
  15. Sometimes, you can tell who understands the hobby, and who doesn't. When people are cruising the display, or contest tables, if they try to pick up or touch a model, in my opinion, they do NOT understand the hobby. I've seen small children following parents around with their hands behind their backs. Those kids understand the hobby, in my way of thinking! Of all the NNL shows I've been to, I've only heard of, or seen one incident, and that was when a builder placed very highly with an extremely nice model, only to not be able to find it when it was time to pack up and go home. That was a shame!! I have always enjoyed the concept of NNL, and appreciate all the hard work the people have put into each and every show, no matter where they take place.
  16. Very nice work, Michelle!
  17. I have one old scrap kit body that I've painted about five different times for practice, and to check color shades with different color primer underneath. That scrap body can always be stripped back to bare plastic, if needed.
  18. A good for compatible plastic is the sprue, or extra parts from the kit you're planning to build. Otherwise, plastic spoons are what a lot of builders use.
  19. Modelhaus has a selection of narrow stripe tires: https://www.modelhaustires.com/
  20. Not being terribly familiar with the '66 Impala, I'm wondering what's wrong with the taillights? I always liked the '66 better than the '65 Impala. Kinda wish Revell wudda modified the '65 convertible into a '66, but that's just because I like convertibles! LOL
  21. On this Hurst Olds, I think these are actually Hurst wheels:
  22. Boring?? If I could afford a 1:1 '68 442, I'd have one in my driveway. I think they are cool cars!
  23. It looks like the Magnum wheels were called Super Stock I wheels, and what I always called the "Rally" wheel is the Super Stock II and III.
  24. I see a lot of them with the Magnum wheels...one of my all-time favorite factory wheels. https://www.carid.com/1968-oldsmobile-442-factory-wheels/
  25. I like it when I finally get to spend some time at the bench after a pause in action. Sometimes, though, when I get some spare time, I'm just too blasted tired to go in the Hobby Room!! LOL
