  1. The way things are right now around here, a hunnert clams would be pushing it!! HAHAHA I once bought a 1:1 '72 Chrysler Newport 4dr. with a 400 in it for $200.00! Great running car! Ahhhhh......those were the days!! HAHAHA

    1968 Le Mans

Looks like a nice daily driver type Poncho! Well done!
  3. I don't have much hope of ever getting any Jo-Han Fury from '65 to '68, except maybe the 4 door '68 Police car, and I already have one of those.
  4. Airtrax does the first gen Cordoba. I'd like to see a '66 Dodge Coronet 500 convertible. Could be mastered from the REVELL '67 Coronet.
  5. Plum Crazy can be a fun state to be in, sometimes!! LoL
  6. Maybe some Plum Crazy Purple??
  7. Bucky

    1969 GTO

Spoiler set up like a whale tail. Nifty looking Goat!! Well done!
  8. Interesting method! Share some more details with us!
  9. This has turned out to be a very informative thread! I appreciate all the tips and techniques that have been shared, here. Even though I have been building since 1963, I still learn new things nearly on a daily basis!! Thanks to all!
  10. I kinda understand why they do it, but I'd rather see them dismantle an old glue-bomb and sell it off a piece at a time.
  11. And does it qualify as a 'zero turn'?
  12. That must be why some old rebuilder-type models are easier to take apart than others. Some of them literally just snap apart, like taking down a Snap-tite build.
  13. I passed up a Fury like this and a flat box '67 Fury back in 1998 at a show in Detroit. Both kits wudda cost me a whopping $100.00!
  14. A thing of beauty!! So realistic!!
  15. Take your 1:1 car to Titlemax, then you can get the 1:25!! LoL
  16. Did he get that chopper at Sears??
  17. Very good info, Bill. I, for one, appreciate this post. I'll certainly look at my different kits with this in mind from this point forward. I always thought the Monogram and REVELL plastics were different from the AMT and MPC stuff, even in the early days.
  18. According to our friend GOOGLE, there are 16 Hobby Lobby stores within 90 miles of my house! There certainly are not that many actual hobby shops in that much area. Other than buying online, it seems that HL is one of our few choices.
  19. LOL I'd much rather own a Plymouth like the one you're building, here!!
  20. I think it turned out very nice!
  21. Very sharp cruiser!
  22. I'll trade ya a roll of rusty barbed wire for all those Jo-Han kits!! LoL
