  1. Wow! That looks like a cool project. Sorry I missed this!!
  2. Well I’m glad you got another one. Shouldn’t matter if they care or not. I am excited to see your build.
  3. Rob I figured you would know where I was coming from. Figured you were busy with your new homestead! The list doesn't ever end, you are right. I agree, I just want to get to the bench a little every night. My work bench doubles as my school and "professional" desk. Thanks for the kind words Jim. David, thank you for the kind thoughts. It is a lot of work and you know it first hand. I hope to get 3 parts done this summer and take 1 part in the fall. Models will always be there, you are right. Thanks to all of you. I appreciate the support! Now I'll have to get back to studying.
  4. Man I am sorry to hear about the cab! The spreader is looking great.
  5. I am looking forward to the tractor as well. I need to get the Porsche also. I have a kit bash idea in mind...
  6. Did another trade with Oldcarfan27, went smoothly as always! Thanks Patrick
  7. Japanese kits do not always interest me. So eliminating options doesn’t really help either
  8. @hpiguy another great video. Looks like I’ll be getting one!
  9. Price increases might not affect the old fellas with “enough for a lifetime” but it sure does affect the new guys. Keep that in mind. Without people buying the new issues the hobby would be in a worse state of affairs.
  10. $9.97 and if your total order is above $25 then they ship free. I agree! Lol! I feel the same. The angled one comes in handy quite often. For the price I won’t complain.
  11. Super cool. I just got the turbo mustang and wetbikes. I think I'll have to track down the King Cab Datsun.
  12. I just finished my Spring semester at college and I thought I would have some more time to be at the bench. Well that lasted about a week. Started a new job, studying for the CPA exam, and finishing up my last class this summer for my Masters. UGH! I was looking forward to building again so bad. I hope maybe I can get in an hour here or there. I hope to never stop building, it's bad enough when I can't build for months at a time.
  13. I found these great tweezers on Amazon for less than $10. I like using them because the tips are very fine and hold onto those fine parts with ease. I will add a bit of rubber to a few of them so they grip a bit better. For the price I think they are good. Here is the link for them if you are interested.
  14. The AMT 57 Belair was one for me. I couldn’t get the paint to lay down right at all, I tried so many times and it went sour each time. I’ve used that same system before and it worked fine. Oh well, it’s parts live on elsewhere and the body is in the bottom of the pile.
  15. Thanks Dave. It feels faster on mobile.
  16. I agree with Oldmpars, I see these all the time still. Cool project!
  17. I agree, awesome job.
  18. You do a great job. It really does look like and feel like a busy shop.
  19. Looking great! I was going to scratch build mine and use some stuff from other kits to make a makeshift computer.
  20. Sweet! Your shop makes all the progress photos look awesome.
