Awesome! The snow and ice build up is nicely done. Goes to show how great a tribute can turn out with the right skill and technique.

Has anyone bought any of these resin bodies?
Rusty92 replied to Ben's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
There is another thread talking about the quality of the kits. Just use caution. I would never pay those prices. -
@Oldcarfan27 is a great trader. Had just what I wanted. Fast shipping!

Ordered from Aftermaket places ?
Rusty92 replied to Mr mopar's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I like his 4wd parts a lot. I got a resin Dana 60 from him and the quality is good. It is a re-cast of the one in the Hemi Dart kit. -

Recently he quit taking orders I heard. I got some left over stuff on eBay from him. -
90-96 Bronco in scale?
Rusty92 replied to Rusty92's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Hey thanks for the info! I would have looked over that detail. Appreciate it. I come from a GM household so no ford stuff ever. -

That’s what I have thought as well. It wouldn’t be too bad if I just take my time. -
90-96 Bronco in scale?
Rusty92 replied to Rusty92's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I saw that, checked there first! But it’s unknown who makes it and searching the web hasn’t led me anywhere. -
Wanting to do a Bronco with a twist. I’d use the AMT Lightning kit to make a Lightning Bronco. Don’t see there being a 90-96 Bronco in resin or kitted... anyone have any info? Or a write up on how to do my own? Thanks!

Serious 3D printing inquiry...
Rusty92 replied to Dann Tier's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I would like them, they are interesting and very lifelike. The texture has ruined some of the pieces I’ve purchased and I will use them, but it will be hard to clean them up extensively. Injection molding is just so smooth to the eye. -
2003 Chevy Silverado SS bumper ?
Rusty92 replied to 57peppershaker's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Good luck. There is so little out there for those kits. It’s a shame. I love the GMT800 pickups. The kits must not have been a big seller. -
Wow! Rico that is amazing work. We owe you all a big thank you! Thank you!

What non-auto model did you get today?
Rusty92 replied to chunkypeanutbutter's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Today I got the AMT Budweiser Clydesdales set and the MPC The General train. The 8 horse hitch is open but complete, even the decals are great! Got it for $30. The General is mint sealed, I plan on building this one soon and displaying on my desk at work pics are from the web. -

Wow those are neat! I don’t have a lot of space models but I’d like those! -

Rusty92 replied to tyrone's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Great! I put an LS from a Z06 into mine. The LS6 I believe. Fit great just like 1:1. Can’t wait to see more! -
Adding or fixing drip rail (AMT GM Van)
Rusty92 replied to Rusty92's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Thanks all for the replies! I have some square stock so I’ll do this later! I appreciate the replies and advice! This AMT van is quite the learning curve. -
Help! I’m working on AMT’s Chevy rescue van and the drip rails are pretty much gone on most of this kit. How would I go about fixing this? Just getting rid of all of it and adding some small diameter styrene rod? This is how it looks now. The passenger side is non existent, the front above the windshield is barely visible, the drivers side starts off strong but ends somewhere 2/3 of the way down. This photo shows what I would add to it.. not sure if it would look great or not! I would first remove what is there and then put this in its place all the way around in one piece. Any advice in fixing this would be appreciated!

Fast shipping, nice packaging, and a great guy to talk to. both of the above are great, trade with confidence!
