Very cool. I have never seen a Vega in the wild. I like the resin corvette as well, looks like a cool piece. Thank you for the story, George!

I've seen some other forums where instead of letting you edit the existing text you instead supplement the post and down at the bottom of the post it says "Post Updated" with the new text. For example: I like the look of the new Corvettes. Post Updated But not in red! The example above shows what it would be like. Kind of like our "reason for edit" box that we can fill in, but this way just automatically adds a new line of text and doesn't allow a user to change the old one.

Pat, what are you using for the lines on the engine? Clear bead line of some sort? And as for the hexagon fittings also? They look great! -

Fenders, hood, grille, bumpers I think too. -
I like the idea of doing that for other races. I read the P2P thread every update, I wish I was involved with this one.

Progress has been slow but tonight I came close to finalizing the cross member and coil spring mounts on the frame. Narrowed the Dana 30s a bit more. The interior is a bit bland. I plan on adding a projector so the co pilot can look at traffic updates and other news on a big screen on one side of the van. A cot, and probably a small fridge for food. Since this is a news van I plan on disguising some proprietary radar equipment on top as broadcasting equipment! The biggest win here is: it will sit at about what a stock V-Drive equipped van would have. A huge victory for me as I wanted this to look stock! I’m hoping to have the front end done this next weekend.

Hey fellas! Thanks for the interest still. Progress has been slow but tonight I finalized the cross member and coil spring mounts on the frame. Narrowed the Dana 30s a bit more. Let me know if you need any parts. That’s from the California Hauler right? I might have some leftovers -

The salt racer is a neat idea!! -
Yeah, he said they may be ready this year later on. I need them for the BRBO but I will buy them regardless when he is done.

I wish AITM still made the updated resin parts for the 1926 Mack.
-
Ooh! That is cool

Extremely well done!

Looking great Joe! I checked out that head unit and I'll keep that in mind if I ever want to go back to somewhat stock. The only thing that would make that interior better is if the seats were torn under warranty! Haha! I agree with Alberto, the key is a nice touch. You've definitely turned this interior into something really nice.

The workbench photo looks exactly like mine whenever I build a semi... You're not alone! I like the wheel color choice and it is all looking good so far. -
Good color choice. I like the kit wheels and the black trim!

WOW! I enjoyed looking through this. Such a keen eye for detail. I really enjoyed the photos with the wet streets and reflection. Great job!!

Hoping to get some bench time this weekend. Since classes have began it has been crazy. They said my Masters would be worth it though... Side note: anyone know a place who prints quality water slide decals? Custom ones that is.. or if someone would be willing to help me out, I wouldn’t mind helping them out!

I’m sure you know the trick, but if you take the tape and stick it on another clean surface first it will reduce its tack. That’s what I do if I have to tape over a nice paint job. It’s always worked for me!

Woohoo!

Oh no!! That is always a bummer.
