That really turned out awesome I love the old bugs I know there are a lot of car guys that turn there nose up at them but they really are deferent I am 70 and 99% American car guy but growing up I have a buddy that he and I would pick these up used for $300 to $500 and go to the junkyard in the area and get good parts for a few bucks and at the time there were auto shops real auto shops all over and we got custom and performance parts for a few bucks repaint them and ether drive them till they fell apart or sell them for $600 to $800 but they were a blast to work on like a life size toy.

Well ok i posted this morning now i have started to work on the kit i have a new complaint they changed the size of the standard wheel backs i was going to just change out the tires for a set of the modelhaus red line witch by the way is a copy of the MPC tires that they used the first time in 68 and use a set of steel wheels with dog dish caps now i have to find a new set of wheel backs to the new size is smaller goes right through the old tires. no big deal but it's nice when the parts are interchangeable. As for the rest of the kit it really is very nice but tires and wheels really make or brake the look of a kit or a car.!

Ho Ha !! I got my 2 in the mail yesterday along with the 2 new 66 Mustang 2+2's I hope they do make the hard top with the Coronet the new tool is very nice i see they have put new pins in a lot of places to help with fit the tires are nice but no company marking's my only complaint the slicks they look like over sized washer's what were they thinking can't wait to get started on the Dodge first.

Very nice you nailed it i remember building one from IMC back in the early 60's great kit but not for a beginner.
