  2. I have to tell you I remember when they first came out i had an ant that got one and we did make jokes about it but as the years went by I started to like the car looking back at it and what you did to it was awesome you put a really great spin on it very will done.!!!!! I love it.!!!
  3. Love it I love any MOPAR with the slant 6 one of the best in-line 6's ever built i had a 67 Dart sport with the slant-6 i put 155K on it sold it to a friend he put 137K on it and he sold it to a friend and that guy drove it for 120K 412K on it and what killed it was a rusted frame he hit a big bump and the car broke right in front of the firewall but the slant 6 was still running.!!!
  4. WOW ! it's like you can get inti and just drive off awesome.!!!
  5. Awesome build love the color and to OHC6 I had a 67 Tempest with that OHC6 it was like a small block 8. with all the resin guys doing GM and Ford in line 6's i wish someone would do the OHC6 i have many projects that can use them.

  8. Nice clean build i like that color on it to that's deferent. Back in the 70's i had a friend that had a 73 same body he had those custom side window vents on his that was a sharp look.
  9. I love seeing all the deferent custom ones but it is nice to see one done stock very nice great color.

  16. WOW ! that's awesome it looks like real metal.
  17. I will be watching this one. I started building model cars in 1962 when i was 10 and this was the first model i ever built i got a glue bomb about 22 years ago and Modelhause was the place to go to get all the replacement parts to rebuild it and just 9 years ago i found an unbuilt complete kit online at modelroundup i have not started that one yet. In 62 i got the kit at the local 5 and 10 store for $1.49 i paid $35.00 for the glue bomb and $38.00 for all the parts to repair it and the complete kit i paid $150.00 for plus I will have to send the chrome out to be rechromed over the years in the box it has got very dull.
  18. Nice clean build i love the color you picked.!
  19. LOL I forgot about that kit your right it's like so many great 60's kits they had all got the AWB re do.!!
  20. Hi your right on the fact it's all new tooling but what made me think they used the old tool well parts of the old tool is I have an unbuild first run AMT 66 Comet kit the hoods on the 66 and 67 are the same and the new tool fits the old 66 and when they retooled it the body is still open all the way and they put the inner fender wells as part of the chassis I took the 67 new tooling and it slipped right in to the 66 body i was thinking they were able to save money by using the body with just small changes like i said i could be very wrong.
  21. Ho boy I am with you on that i like the front grill lay out better and the taillights to from the side view you can't tell the deference and the dash was a little deferent but yes, I was hoping the same thing but I think this fell to the same fate as others the mold was reworked to make the 67 it saved them a ton of money back then.
  22. LOL your right the comet was Mercury's Fairlane the two cars were about 90% the same.
  23. Awesome that looks so good.!!!
