Awesome build i love the old GM's great color combo.

Hay I'm 70 long term is next week so i will start with a couple of the convertibles and just hope the hardtops are close behind.!!!!

Ho snap!!! yes that is awesome i love the color and the reshape on the trunk lid great looking tires and wheels and the engine is great.

Nice can't wait to see this one as you go along and then done.!! I love the old in-line 6's my 1 to 1 summer car was a built up 67 Mustang in-line 6

Awesome build I had a 74 Dart sport with the slant-6 loved it that was a great car.

This build is awesome I have been watching and can't wait to see it done my grandfather had a 64 bonny his was a two door hard top in silver but the one thing that I always remembered was when i got in to go with him the ash tray was always open with his cigar hanging out that is a great touch. your level of detail is off the chart very nice.

WOW! and every word that goes with that.!!!! I have been on this site for 20 years and have seen some awesome builds but i had to go over yours's 6 or 7 times i though you were first showing the photos of the real 1/1 car you were going to copy it took some time to realize this was the model. AWESOME!!!

I like these kits i have two of them this one and a 79 witch i just finished back in the 70's MPC put out some great kits i wish i had all the ones i had back then. nice color looking forward to seeing this one done.!

Thanks for the tip and your right from the photo at 3D the set up looks like it was for an open frame hot rod i was starting to go through parts to find the ones that will work for my build but now i think i will go your way and just custom build what i need and yes i love the JB weld it works great thanks again.

This is a awesome build I am watching this one I love the old JoHan kits in the past 20 years i have put a good stash together of those kits I would love to see this one in a resin kit. Nice so far very nice.

Wow very nice build i still love the old VW bugs I am 70 i had a couple of them back in the late 60's and 70's back then you could pick one up for $300 to $400 bucks and they were so easy to work on and even main Hot Rod Mags had ads for custom parts for the body and engine you brought an old favorite back to life. Thanks for showing the Iceman motor I checked out his site and ordered some motors and some parts.

Nice build that year looks good in all black and the dog dish caps with the red lines are a perfect touch.

Cool thanks they really look like there from that time i have done a few 32 or 34 hot rods and the make the dash fix the build and as far as i know they have put them in every 57 chevy kit but one it was the one with blue 57 on the box when someone at AMT took every thing out of the kit and it was bear bones stock they said having to many parts would confuse the kid building it what can i say. You have a great list of colors good luck to me that is the hardest thing is getting that perfect color to see your idea come to life.

Nice it's going to have a nice shape to the body i see your using the gages from the AMT 57 chevy kit i wish someone would make them in resin i had a few of them they are perfect for 30's and 40's Hot Rot set ups.!!! Have you thought about a color yet.
