  1. I'll be checking my mail box daily.
  2. Super! Can't wait for more hot rod building. Helping me plan my next 32 Rod.
  3. Checking out the dual Holly carbs on one of the cars. Wow. Both are sharp.
  4. Forgot about the Monkeemobile ! The 1/18 Diecast 69 Pontiac Grand Prix Royal Pontiac is very sharp. Would be a good shelf model for me if 1/24-1/25.
  5. Checking out the fantastic 427 fender emblems. Way to go.
  6. So good to see engine block hugging headers allowing big block motors. Good to see big blocks without having the exhaust spilling over the sides. Bingo!
  7. Looking fast already.
  8. Long time 911 enthusiast here............You nailed it. Fantastic car and equal the photography.
  9. My word! Wild carb'd engine, flairs, Lamborghini looking wheels, diffuser and big exhaust tips. It has everything.
  10. Epic impact. Props for all of this. Just keeping track of the next step. Unable to identify the engines. Buick? A diecast for my desk would be fun if one was ever made.
  11. ok, thanks for the info on the 421 decals for the 65 Bonneville
  12. Super! Have not attempted any of these but maybe will try to channel some time. At least mistakes would be generally hidden------maybe!
  13. For my 62 Catalina build I found photo etch 421 emblems but the people making them only produced the passenger side one. The drivers side and passenger side are different. You can google it and see. Frustrating! Thinking I'll go ahead and just mount the correct passenger side and go with it. Your 421 engine looks very real.
  14. Wild! Never seen anything like it.
  15. Super Catalina! Would be extra killer with some 421 emblems on the fenders. Thanks for posting.
  16. I grew up around the big Pontiac's as a teen and we had a few neighbors with the 421 engine. Love the 421 powered big Poncho's. Too bad that to my knowledge there are no 421 engine emblems available out there for the 1965 and 1966 full size Pontiac's for our hobby. You can see them correctly rendered on the 2+2 kit. For the 66 Bonneville, they will look like that but need to be mounted low on the rocker panel just a bit back from the front wheel. For the 65 Grand Prix, if you wanted it to be a 421, the emblems would need to located in the same spot as the 2+2. Hope this is a little bit of help.
  17. Looking good. definitely want to follow as I have had this kit unbuilt for a long time and your posts are going to help me build the blue one on the box front.
  18. Good machine. Checking out the air cleaner decal and the red interior. Yes!
  19. Liking the good, close up pics. Seeing the clean, simple attachment points for the headlights on the frame.
  20. Looking good. Looks like seperate door panels for the ease of painting.
  21. Just to get to see a built one in person would be a treat. A rare kit today. Thanks for posting.
  22. One of my favorites. Had a friend in HS with one. Great that the door panels are separate. So much easier to do the interior!
