I just moved to Utah a couple months ago and I would really like to attend the GSL, but I can't figure out where it will be. The only address I'm seeing on the website is for the museum, is it at the museum?
I had this one in my stash for about 15 years. I lowered it and used white walls out of my parts box. I couldn't get the hood to shut with the engine in, so I took out the engine and glued the hood shut.
I just finished up this Galaxy '47 Fleetmaster. I used the lowered suspension and the custom engine parts. The paint is Rustoleum Harbor blue with a flat clear coat.

I just ran across this guy selling them on eBay. He also has a 4 door and I just ordered the '52 conversion kit.
Thanks for the comments guys. I'm finally settled in enough that I could get a little more done on this build.
I started the body work on the cab.
I made a template on my mat so I'll know where the wheels go so I won't have to measure every time. I think I'm going to use the kit frame rails as a starting point, this kit will lay rocker with the kit frame rails.
I noticed that the fenders curved downward on the inside so I did some cutting and added some flat pieces for tire clearance.
More next time.
