  1. You done good! Keep up the good work!
  2. Fake vents are there. ? The wing is definitely weird, especially with the Indy light. I've ordered from Japan, internet is dangerous on the disposable income.

    2019 My Way

That was my thought too! Good to see so many completed models.
  4. connected with zipline
  5. Good idea to resume a Tamiya kit. I built the evil twin Dodge Stealth that AMT produced, this was the original car before Lee Iacocca did the badge engineering, and this is still a better looking car. I've gone for years without building, so glad you are back at it!
  6. Thank you my friend! I'm a happy camper. Thank you! Thank you! We need to get that Audi Quattro built for next year. ?
  7. Funny, I did not expect to hijack a thread so easily! ? Sorry about that, but since it's been a popular subject, another picture, my dad was talking to the crew: Saw this model at the last Modelzona contest:
  8. When that Firebird was new, had a fold-out advertisement on the wall for awhile. It was a nice looking car compared to everything else. That a flat finish paint? Looks good!
  9. There isn't an Empty Air award. ?
  10. Very nicely done, you have the shiny paint down pat. Every time I see a Cameo, kick myself for not buying a nice original years ago.
  11. I think you need to build more models. ? Didn't know so many Russian vehicle kits existed, nice to see them and thanks for sharing. I have that Audi Quattro kit, recently ordered the engine and other detail parts. The unfinished Mercedes police car, what kit is that? The 4WD van is cool. Just got the Porsche race car kit. I've built a few '50 Ford pickups. Built the Vehicross for a diorama. And have the Lamborghini in the stash. All very clean and well done models. ?
  12. Thank you. So many here that things tend to get overlooked. Thank you! The past couple weeks, I joined Facebook groups themed for American Southwest, Grand Canyon N. P., and Zion N.P., and have been sharing vintage family photos. My dad took many pictures of their adventures, with the car in the shots. Most of the time, comments are about the Beetle or whatever car, the scene is secondary. ? For example, tunnel collapse in the Zion tunnel, their first Beetle, which I hope to also build. Thanks, that was a fun slap together.
  13. Nice you could build that Karman Ghia for someone, that's more satisfying than getting an award that has to collect dust.
  14. Every engine was ? for me. Nice work, should be proud of these.
  15. Well done! Love the garage photo booth too.
  16. Nice variety, subjects you don't see much at all.
  17. You could have your own channel: Extreme Box Stock. It's the only way I get anything done. ? Very nice work, and like how the pictures are done.
  18. Wicked cool builds! Love the detail on the Ferrari. So what that you only got 3 done, it's a tradeoff, I have two of those in my stash that may never get built.

    2019

Love your subjects, I have several of those kits in the stash. So having at least 5 going at a time gets more completed? ? Very well done, nice to see you weathered the 330P4.
  20. Not just slapped together, but really well done. I have the Testarossa and Huracan kits, so you are two up on me.
  21. They are all sweet! Noticed the opened gas filler door, but my fav is third down.
  22. 1. 1960 VW Beetle for GSL Common Kit 2. Ferrari 275P/360 Modena MONGREL 3. Porsche 904 + Indy = PORNDY 4. Dodge Stealth Indy Official Beater 5. Porsche 959 Paris-Dakar 6. Panzerkampfwagen 1a 7. Aerovette 8. Vintage soda cooler (Does this count? ?) 9. Renault 5 Turbo rally winner Some more awards: Started the Ferrari 275 NART but didn't want to rush it, to finish this year. Have the Bring Out Your Dead zombie '48 Chevrolet Canopy Express that lurks under the bench. Have reduced the WIPs this year, but more than made up for it buying more kits. So my title is a white lie. ?
  23. Last build for 2019! The WIP is only one page, because I blew this out as Box Stock. There was only one sprue of parts, and the window sprue (of course), tires were very rubber-like slicks. If one wanted to really be accurate, there would be a ton of scratch-building required. I think it's funny the doors open, so you can see the super simplified interior, with no pedals, handbrake (that's like the most important part for a rally car, ask Ken Block), rally equipment, seatbelts, even the gauges were just simple raised rings (aftermarket decals used). There is an engine with no distributer, the suspension has no springs for detail. Fit is better than average, with big round pins and squared holes that work better than AMT snap-tight design. Decals are very well printed, that Solvaset does not work on. The hatch stays open with no prop rod, couldn't get more perfect. A fun quick and dirty kit to throw together.
