  2. Though I don't build hot rods, I really like this! I could get one of Cadillac kits with the V16, now I'm more tempted.
  3. Looks like the factory designed it. I like your 300 wagon in the background too.
  4. Oh, not this. https://www.modelroundup.com/product-p/mpc-1-0554.htm
  5. I just searched, 1/24 resin Chevrolet, no 1/25 as a choice. It would be helpful if everyone provided a link instead of just typing words, and maybe testing to see if the source even has something close. Someday I want to do the '57 Chevy wagon that I owned, which had the 235 Stovebolt. The '56 Corvette has a 6, but with the twin carbs. Just a little scratch-building would get the 250.
  6. Funny this topic got resurrected, I just picked up the '69 kit at the Phoenix swap meet. My neighbor friend found an abandoned car on the Navajo Reservation, and restored it. Told his wife, asked for any pictures of it in that condition, so I can build a *before* version. What is that issue? It's not bleed through, correct? What's the difference compared to white? I always paint flat black inside so light doesn't shine through.

  8. When I first saw that, thought it would be a cool project. Then I woke up. Wish you the best, really look forward to watching this!
  9. $34 as of now! Glad I got mine when I did.
  10. Dodge Sweptside would be cool. https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Events/Event/Details/1958-DODGE-SWEPTSIDE-PICKUP-117016
  11. Thank you! No worries about time to respond.
  12. Of course you can! I have not built it, which is important. From what I can tell, it's very detailed, lots more parts than say their '72 Chevy pickup. Has the option of Rudge wheels. But at this moment, going from memory. I also don't have the Tamiya kit, so can't fairly compare. My plan is to use it in a diorama, in a well worn condition, perhaps with the engine out like it's getting rebuilt.
  13. Thanks for the offer, but I'm good. I have a complete kit that's open, which is shown on my separate topic.
  14. I remember seeing that. It's so bizarre to me, to see ads for investing in pot stocks on business news sources.. Until the Federal government lifts the ban, it's still a risk. Knowing banks are not willing to deal with pot shops (there is a pun in there) they have to use only cash, which makes me wonder how long dishonest companies will get away with ripping off investors.
  15. Cool subject, I have that kit plus the full engine detail parts, which will guarantee it won't get finished. Nice color choice. And well done! ~thumbs up~
  16. Stop asking questions!
  17. Well thought out, and not a single stock part, is there? Always appreciate thinking out of the box projects.
  18. I like it! Nice drawing too. I used to design/draw cars until my teens, but were always side views.
  19. I have not heard of that product. Looks like it works! You have any pictures before the clear was done?
  20. I've been tempted to buy one of these kits, but it's an AMT. For the origami straight edge era, it was one of the better designs. You did a fine job with it. The headlights would need to be "fixed". The tires look decent, are they specific brand? Is there an engine?
  21. Thank you for the heads up! I recently got the 917 engine, and threw in a Ferrari 250 engine. Highly recommended. This triggers a memory, there was a Porsche run to Prescott years ago, I might have seen one of these. Would be a slide picture....
