    I ordered something from Shapeways on Nov. 26. Yesterday was wondering where it was, searched my email and noticed they never sent notice of shipment. So I sent an email yesterday, got reply "I'm sorry" then 10 hours later "shipment is on it's way!" Good thing I checked, not that I'm impatient or have a deadline, but come on!

    When I built my house in 1985, I stole the idea from a sales brochure. Used a regular step ladder for awhile, it's the same riser dimension. I designed it using salvaged oak barn wood mortise and tenoned into the single 4x12 stringer, but had someone build it. Thank you!

    Helps to know what brand, and type you are using. I had a disaster with Scale Motorsport, copper color, Solvaset stained it, was literally breaking over curves. Got so desperate that I attempted to fake it by doing a crazy paint scheme, and then the masking peeled off the decal, so brake fluid came to the rescue. Just to give an example.

    Since I owned an '03 and then an '07 MINI, gotta love what you have done! The last Mini Meet I attended had a classic with the Honda transplant, it kicked butt on the autocross. I got first place with my '07, because I didn't worry about wasting the tires. LOL I also favor purple, so nice choice of paint! Very cool projects.

    Only because I own a 2016 Honda Civic EX-T Coupe (10th generation), am I looking at this. From what I can tell, it's average quality, and a curbside. The Type R is a top-of-the-line pocket rocket, has not been offered in the USA before (a rebadge prior not worthy). Converting it to LHD would be a pain, and it's the hatchback version which is much different than my Coupe's trunk. The real car *starting price* is $36,595, so I will never buy one; but to build what they don't offer is tempting. Has anyone bought a Modeler's kit? https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10568107
