You did an awesome job! I didn't know it was re-popped. Just picked up the original kit. I built the sedan but converted into my dad's Roadster, it's a decent kit.

Thank you! Here is another view of the 570, I wouldn't think having the exhaust in the wing airstream would be a good idea. This is more my speed, a patina '69 Chevy C-10 with a turbo V8. Looks like no heater, but it's Phoenix, and they could draw heat from the turbo.

I appreciate being able to trust people to pay for postage, after I sent off, it's easier to send a picture of the receipt amount to be exact, than guess and be wrong. Thank you to gbtr6 (Perry) and Intmd8r (Steve). I have also already dealt with misternemo (Ryan) before, and am currently doing something for him in trade for some scarce items, so that really makes being a member on this forum so much better.

I'll start off with an actual on-the-road shot, at a stop light. Seen before at cruise nights, license plate is THJURY. At the Pavilions cruise night in Snotsdale, which is every week. Front plate says SURVIVOR. It's probably more rare than most of the cars present. Ford Crown Vic, had a racing seat, and enough mods to qualify for something. Two of 3 McLarens, I don't follow the latest supercars anymore, can't keep track of them.

The Crook forest fire, which had to be started by a dumb***, has grown to over 6,000 acres. The wind has been blowing into town, the phone weather app shows gray sky, with "unhealthy air quality for sensitive groups". It's about 10 miles from me.

Thank you. Yea, same promo style chassis. Well, in olden times red bled through paint, so hope they fixed that. I must be stupid, sold 13 models at the Desert Scale swap today, and blew 4/5 of the proceeds on only 3 kits. Add the paint and p-e weld lines.

Have to ask, is it the same promo style chassis, or a new tool? I have several original AMT, like I need another one.

Got a call tonight, from a member of the antique auto club that I have been a member in, off and on since around 1990. He owns a Ferrari 308 GTB, got it when they were cheap. "You still do models?" I said yes, but haven't been building lately. "I'm getting too old to build, thought you would be interested in some kits." So he named off what he had, starting with what I already have, then he said I would be interested in this, guess which one? He doesn't do internet, so I looked at stupidBay and told him what the Otaki asking prices are (people are higher than a kite!). He sold me all these for much less than what those bozos want for the Countach. Just in time for the Desert Scale Classic this weekend. ?

I love how G00gle keeps allowing spam emails, from people who say "I have checked your website, and you need me to improve it and increase traffic". Funny thing, I don't even have a website. The more I report these as spam, the faster they come.

Forest fire season began today. There is a fire far enough away to not be an issue, but it grew to about 200 acres in an hour. Just saw a twin rotor chopper fly over. Now I'm irked that my next door neighbor doesn't give a #### about their vegetation, which is exacerbated by a fast growing Juniper they planted dead south, that will also be blocking my solar access in the winter.
