Thanks for sharing. The FPPMODELOS 1/24 scale resin kit of the Auto-Union C made by Fernando Pinto Portugal is probably more difficult to build, so I feel your pain! This kit looks really nice, good detail on the suspension. You did a fine job with it. I got a book about these cars, they were ground-breaking engineering, and gave Mercedes a run for their huge budget.

Didn't know that I needed this, but it was the only model at the Phoenix model swap today that I wanted. Must be getting old, I don't like the current Bugattis, this one is too cool for an antique.

Thanks for posting this. I'm lucky to have a Paul Fisher BAT. The closest I came to scratch building a body, was to carve out of a block of Mahogany a design of mine. Can't find a picture. ? -

Watching stupid drivers yesterday. One drove the wrong way into a roundabout in Sedona, but at least turned right. Got behind someone on the two lane, going 5 under the speed limit, but when the passing zone came up sped up, then slowed down guess where. Then close to home, the green left turn arrows turned, and an old woman thought she could go straight, the left turner honked, but she was on a mission.

Last century I built the Delivery T. It was the first time I tried Testors putty, to smooth in the rear window blank, which was not done well. It sits on my junkyard shelf. I never liked the wire wheels with generic tires. -

I blame MTV for the drunken cameraman style. I was learned to pan slowly, not spaz swing the camera around like a dancer. The micro-editing is a bit annoying, but saves time. So I've been trained (conditioned, brainwashed) to get bored of lectures and tune out. I've been enjoying Russell Brand, despite his exaggerated arm waving, he micro-edits like crazy. I have neglected my topic, and I think it's because they haven't published more WIP. (didn't verify) Anyway, they are done. Great work, but see if the front bumper end looks turned up and not level. I would have done walnut for the dash, whatever they used looks like sandblasted pine stained black.

Thank you. Yes, trial and error. Thanks man! Glad you could stop by. Yes every resin part is, a step at a time. Thanks! I got many scrap pieces, so no worries. In fact, have used Corian to fix cooking utensil handles. Thank you. I got a good second half done, and Deft varnished. -

I haven't tried Marble yet. ? I'm buying more tools than models now. Here is attempt 2. Just a little too small diameter. Used a different bit for the inside cut. Checking the outside diameter. Broke this when taking it off. Glued up another part. Made In China. This is how I clamp the jig to the wood. There is a paper layer between the wood and jig. Been working on the interior fit into the body, got it dailed in, temporarily glued with Tackey glue. Found a steering column from a Modena. Cutting off the wood. One trick I Iearned was to leave some paper sticking out when grinding off the outside diameter, makes it easier to get the knife in the correct spot. For once I got a perfect fit. Just in case, I'm making another rim. I have lots of Mahogany wood to make a few, it was high grading the knots that is important, to avoid open grain that would weaken the part. Back to the chassis. Front fenders are the next thing to fit. Cut apart the air filters from the intake. Cleaned up the exhaust pipes, which will be sliced and diced. Adjusting pretty much every part from now on, the radiator position, steering rack needs to be shortened, engine bay perimeter shroud needs to be cut along with the wheel wells. -

Totally awesome man! The tailpipes are huge! Adjustable suspension, some of mine end up having that.
