Years ago, my cousin had just that; a 76 Pinto wagon on a Bronco chassis! His only had 33" tires on it though..... We all called it the roller skate because it looked just like one! I have to say it was a lot less pleasing to the eye than this one! I'm still wondering how you could take two ingredients that can sicken people and combine them to create something way more than palatable... Job well done, hats off to you!

Here's the latest off my bench. I decided to use some of the leftover parts from the last build for another. I used the frame, rear, grille, and headlights from the 29 roadster gluebomb. The rest were spares from the parts box. Here's a pic of the start pile: Thanks for looking!

Gotta agree. The front bumpers look so good in chrome, you'll see them hanging off the front of other makes of mini trucks! This is really cool, Mike. The styles work really well together.

Looks great, Raul! Paint looks fantastic. You'll have to hand out numbers at NNL to people that want to photograph it, there'll be so many! Make sure you check that blower belt tension before you make any passes down the strip, though.... hate to see anything break.....

That's moving right along! I think the black and green will look great together. It kind of reminds me of the Mr. Yuck stickers from years ago. I'm sure you didn't have them in 'ol Blighty so I'll fill you in. Us Yanks used them on household chemicals to keep kids from drinking them. They were black and bright green with a "yuck" face(gross, not ha ha) on them. There's a name for the build for you! Here's a pic:

Nice work so far! I like the Nailhead engine. Its a funny coincidence that I'm working on one right now too. I wound up with three of those after the last club meeting I went to. Two of them were built ups and one was the Basic Builder issue. One of the builtups had the Pontiac engine. It was the nicest part of all three. So nice, in fact, all I'm going to do to it is wire the magneto and blackwash it. I am building the new kit with the old engine and I already have the fenders cut off the frame and the frame's all cleaned up now. Quite a different path for each of us, eh? Keep us posted, I want to see how yours turn out!

Good job! The rust and welds look pretty good. I really like the suicide shifter! You better watch it.... I built my first "dirty" rod back in November and I can't think about building anything else right now! Rods are really addictive!

I noticed you changed it yesterday, Raul. I like it! When its reduced like that, the blower looks like a tank that has a pulley and belt bolted through the front of it. The black "brackets" look like rubber bungee straps holding the bug-catcher down to the top of the tank. Definitely hilarious! Do you have an unreduced shot?

I'm sure that it must have been '73 because Central Pa is on some kind of six month lag on new music releases. It's funny you say that song was over played back then. No, for some reason they aren't all in there. I know my current one isn't in there and neither are all the ones randbugeye or stanleymsn(to name but two examples I chose to look for) have been using lately. I still don't know why.... I wonder if the "bank" is full?

This site has a bank of avatar pics. If you don't import one, You can chose from ones already in the "bank". When I set mine, I saw yours listed in there, so that's where the new folks are geting it from.
