The entire car pretty much looks like this... So I wet sanded with 3000 grit and lightly went after the roof. Then used Meguires Scratch X 2.0, follow up with Novus 2. Result... not quite happy, again with a wet 3000 then just Novus 2 this time. Sorry folks I know there are other products available but I went with what I had on hand. I can live with this

Got some color over the weekend and a clear coat yesterday. I'm nervous about sanding thru the clear but it really needs it. Tons of orange peel

I noticed that side window and thought someone cut it in. Never knew that van kit existed

Side tracked again. Playing around with some wire, styrene and stick pins. I drilled a small hole in the side of a carburetor and cut a small piece of styrene and added 3 holes. I used earbud wires for the return spring and throttle cable. I then attached the styrene to the carburetor with a stick pin and some CA then painted everything up. I'll use these on future builds. Maybe I'll add a mini R/C motor...

It's the return spring. It's a thin gold wire plucked from the mini earbuds. I coiled it around a straight pin. Pretty easy

Yeah Jim, I plan to run a standard hot rod exhaust. I did something new this time around Can you spot it?

Great build Rodney. I use the same clear but I get the spray can. You're totally right when you say tape will pull off the clear. Happened to me with BMF. The finish pulled right off when I readjusted the foil.
