  9. I agree, great job on the Camaro. I've always been a fan of your work. I have never used Tamiya paint but I'm willing to give it a try after seeing this! That color is perfect and the finish is amazing ?

  12. Nice clean cut lines. This is gonna be cool
  13. While the interior and chassis is in the stripper, I tried to take it one step further by detailing the emblems. Hard on these old eyes. Also tried to give some depth to the SS hubcaps. Also working on the steering components
  14. Great build! Those seats look a mile wide! Nice photography too
  15. Decided to strip the interior and chassis. Interior will now be white with grey carpet. the original paint was enamel. It was thick and almost filled in the panel gaps. I did the best I could to try to reveal them. The paint has its flaws but i dont want to get into stripping it. I was hoping for a quick rebuild on this one. i went after the grille with flat black acrylic and some water to give it some depth Getting the engine sorted out. Added new wires, pulleys and heater hoses. I found these at Wally World. I'm using them as hose clamps. Pretty neat Stay Tuned...
  16. I remember it. Loved that movie. I found it a few years ago and burned it to dvd. That Willys was killer!
  17. Here's Yogi our greyhound. He competed in 2 races. Came in 5th and 7th before they retired him. We rescued him in 2018. He is 4 years old with serious heart issues now.

  21. Shes done. Check out the final product here Thanks for playing along
  22. Ok, shes done. For now... It's fun tearing down old builds and freshen them up. I've always liked this car and was generally happy with it except for the wheels. Then came along the Chrysler Turbine car. It needed a chassis with posable wheels so this one took a back seat. After taking her frame and suspension, I felt pretty bad so that's why the redo. She will never lose her frame again. Thanks for looking
  23. We now have a rolling chassis and brake lines -at least to the rear
  24. Thanks guys, I'm trying to save some $ and update a few of my earlier builds to today's skill level. What makes it more enjoyable is that is something I originally built and I dont have to fix others mistakes or deal with great big globs of glue. I am finding that I like them more than I used to. Not sure if this one is going to have updated wheels or not.
