    Added some fl white to the leather paint - sprayed onto the seat cushion - closer to the leather appearance on Jr8 …. Go with this instead ?

    The seat on the Jr8 Spl is a bit lighter brown and with a wide “grain” finish - maybe add a drop of fl white and spray another coat ?

    Thinned and airbrushed …. Looks a bit shiny at first - but I want some sheen - so I think this will do …

    Gracias, smiles … i’m using the Tamiya masking tape alot … on the body ive drilled open the holes for the rivets for the padding - gonna use the Master Club .070s … and paint the seat and passing Model Master leather …

    Prepping the bonnett for paint required some xtra steps - i had left some tool marks on the underside of the bonnett - so some additional sanding is needed to get a smooth surface - which was then air brush painted with Zero aluminum …

    The magneto sits on a base - here - 2 parts - the drive is taken from the right side cam drive chain … the cam covers will be painted black and then something shiny - think I’ll use Alcad polished aluminum …

    The cyl heads on the Miller 8s were all twin 4 heads - by casting them individually I’ve got a scale accurate gap - bout 1/4 scale inch … epoxied- so I can get the heads aligned …

    The hinge pins are inserted into the outboard 3 segments - .010 brass - its fragile - but it should w/stand some careful handling … knock on resin …

    The “teeth” of the hinge are filed - the outer three segments are - carefully - drilled w .012 drill - a larger hole will break the segments apart - no beer before this surgery …
