  5. Excellent build.
  6. You can try it with and without and see which you like the best. Without figures allows the viewer to place themselves in the shop in their imagination.
  7. Looking very impressive.
  8. A huge thank you to Tim and Tim for sharing the photos of the wooden 1/10 models. I remember seeing similar wooden models during visits to Monogram.

  10. Would that have been a flower car for funerals?
  11. OK, I finally figured all out. Tomorrow is April 1st and you are going to go in and fire up all of these engines.

Daytona runs counter clockwise and the cars fueled on the left hand side, at Le Mans runs clockwise and the cars fueled on the right hand side.
  14. Excellent transformation.
  15. In the mid 70s I bought a '63 Corvette split window coupe. I soon got used to the rear window and never considered it a problem nor did my wife. Still one of my all time favorite cars.
  16. Very nicely done indeed.
  17. I look forward to each new installment of FTB. So many ideas and all so well executed.
  18. Nicely done. Very convincing.

  20. Looks great. What tires did you switch to?
  21. Outstanding results from very humble beginnings.
  22. Super nice. The engine swap is very clever.
  23. These models and photos are by Scott Kercher. His build description follows. Both the Lancia 037 and the Lancia Stratos are Hasegawa kits with Regi P.E. upgrades. Except for a few details under the rear deck of the 037, they are pretty much out of the box. The trick part here are the decals and painting. Both cars use Krylon spray paint and the kit decals. The 037 was overall white, and just a little touch ups where the decals went around corners and over the front fenders. Decals performed well and fit well. A small rectangle of clear and real pearl powder was sprayed on clear decal to use under the numbers on the doors to represent the reflective paint. The Stratos gave me fits, I think it went into the dunk tank 3 times before I was happy. I had to match the wheels to the body stripes. So, first is the overall white, then mask off for the red, then mask off for the gloss black, add the decals on the black parts, then spray that with flat overcoat. The color actually is flat black. Remove all masking and apply the remainder of the decals on the glossy parts, some subtle weathering, and swear you'll never try that again!
