The wooden TR58 actually was finished at one time but over the years the paint cracked and came off in large chunks and I have not gotten it rebuilt. Just found a couple of photos. -

Good question. The answer is I did not but I did collect the drawings. Scale drawings is an interesting topic and may be worth a separate topic. I wonder if they would have any value to the 3D folks. -

Mark, the wire wheels were based upon the first release of the AMT Cobra kit. They were the only thing available at the time. -
Geno, I needed a wiper and got this from lemansdecals.com. It is available in different scales. It is not an exact match but if you can't find anything else. Gary

I just received an order I placed about 2 weeks ago. That is about usual.

Attended the Dunn Loring VA show for the first time in decades. Picked up a beautiful Studebaker, a Plymouth Pickup, a '65 AMT Corvette rebuilder, and 2 resin Corvette Grand Sports.

Before there were home computers, resin kits, the internet, and 3D printing, we made drawings from magazines and books and carved models from wood. These were in 1/25 scale because that was what we knew at the time. -

You are right Maxx along with the 166MM and the TR61. These were done before resin kits were available. -

1964 Corvette Grand Sport 002 1/18 by Road Signature, aka Yat Ming. Ok, not bad but could be better but Exoto did it better. My issues with the model are the color, should be silver as displayed at Notre Dame, not the Viking Blue shown, and the headlamps look silly tiny and the covers should have been painted body color. Shown with the 1/25 resin Grand Sport 002 by Landis and Saparo. I am heading back to 24.5 scale now. ?

My oldest kits are special for me. The Ideal Ferrari 212 was released in 1956 in 1/16 scale and was one of my earliest kits I built. The Berkeley Allard J2 is dated to 1953 in 1/24 scale and is special because it was gifted to me by Wayne Moyer, Model Car Magazine, and other, model magazines columnist for 1/43 scale models.
