  1. Really glad to see this build alive again.
  2. At the club meeting Sunday made a deal for a Spark 1/16 Ford GT40. Only my 3rd 1/16 but hey it's a GT40 so I broke my scale rule. Got it home and discovered the windshield wiper was missing. My friend searched everywhere for it but without any luck. I went online and found lemansdecals.com sells PE wipers in multiple scales so order some.
  3. Thank you Rich for sharing your processes and techniques. I have been building models since 1958 but have really slowed down.
  4. Good to see you back.
  5. Just in. The 1/24 BBurago Ferrari 330 P4 shown as the 1967 Daytona 24 hour winner. Displayed with an original Heller and a diecast Jouef. The good news is that it is cheap, the bad news is the rivet detail.
  6. Thank you for the photos. They are special for me.
  7. Thanks for sharing this photo of the quayside at Douglas. My grandfather Kelly was from Douglas.
  8. Very well done indeed. The choice of the Cunningham livery is special.
  9. OK, after some more Googling the RHD was correct.
  10. What a surprise Rich! Great subject and well executed per usual. But I am confused. RHD?
  11. Oh yes. Very fetching. ?
  12. I am impressed with your build. Thanks for sharing it with us.
  13. Has anyone tried scanning the seat grommet decal and printing it onto decal paper?
  14. I agree with the four points plus I get enjoyment out of researching and replication 1:1 racers.
  15. Like it a lot. Without your hand you would not know what scale it is.
  16. I saw that too. It was presented as a pristine original, but it was P1080 and had a rough life racing in Angola. The nose in particular had been broken into pieces.
  17. Yesterday mail brought this Franklin Mint 1965 Corvette. It fills a hole in my C2 Corvette diecast 1/24 scale collection finally.

    '70 Buick GS.

Up to your usual high standards Gene. I really like it.
  19. Nice design,
  20. I don't know how I missed this thread till now but shame on me. Your builds have always been impressive but for me this is at another level. Thank you for sharing your work.
