  1. That red really pops and the build is super well done.
  2. The wooden TR58 actually was finished at one time but over the years the paint cracked and came off in large chunks and I have not gotten it rebuilt. Just found a couple of photos.
  3. Good question. The answer is I did not but I did collect the drawings. Scale drawings is an interesting topic and may be worth a separate topic. I wonder if they would have any value to the 3D folks.
  4. Mark, the wire wheels were based upon the first release of the AMT Cobra kit. They were the only thing available at the time.
  5. In the mail. LeMans-Porsche-Penske, right up my alley.? 2023 BBurago 1/24 Porsche 993.
  6. I understood Paul did the casting. Not sure who did the master though.
  7. Thank you for sharing your WIP and completed photos. Very well done indeed.

    Question.

Geno, I needed a wiper and got this from lemansdecals.com. It is available in different scales. It is not an exact match but if you can't find anything else. Gary
  9. I just received an order I placed about 2 weeks ago. That is about usual.
  10. Attended the Dunn Loring VA show for the first time in decades. Picked up a beautiful Studebaker, a Plymouth Pickup, a '65 AMT Corvette rebuilder, and 2 resin Corvette Grand Sports.
  11. A big thank you to all for your comments.
  12. Before there were home computers, resin kits, the internet, and 3D printing, we made drawings from magazines and books and carved models from wood. These were in 1/25 scale because that was what we knew at the time.
  13. You are right Maxx along with the 166MM and the TR61. These were done before resin kits were available.
  14. Once again outstanding work. Thanks for sharing the build and completed model.
  15. My 1/25 - 1/24 scale collection of Ferraris that won Le Mans is growing with the addition of the 2023 winner from BBurago. Only 3 more to finish. Do you know which ones were carved from wood? Oops, 1958 TR58 and 1954 375 Plus are out of order.
  16. The BBurago 1/24 scale Ferrari 499P that won Le Mans in 2023 arrived this afternoon.
  17. These just in, JADA 1980 Chevy Blazer, GMP diecast trailer, Franklin Mint 1955 Corvette.
  18. 1964 Corvette Grand Sport 002 1/18 by Road Signature, aka Yat Ming. Ok, not bad but could be better but Exoto did it better. My issues with the model are the color, should be silver as displayed at Notre Dame, not the Viking Blue shown, and the headlamps look silly tiny and the covers should have been painted body color. Shown with the 1/25 resin Grand Sport 002 by Landis and Saparo. I am heading back to 24.5 scale now. ?
  19. My oldest kits are special for me. The Ideal Ferrari 212 was released in 1956 in 1/16 scale and was one of my earliest kits I built. The Berkeley Allard J2 is dated to 1953 in 1/24 scale and is special because it was gifted to me by Wayne Moyer, Model Car Magazine, and other, model magazines columnist for 1/43 scale models.
