  1. I was fortunate and blessed to have the opportunity to go on a spending spree at Hobby Lobby, and lucky that they still had 40% off unlimited model kits still going on. They were actually kind of picked over, but I still managed to find a bunch that I have been wanting for a while. The one near me has a decent selection (at least in my opinion) and even though the '65 Foose Impala, Revell '68 Charger 2'n1, '32 Ford 2'n1, '66 GTO, and Kenworth W-900 were sold out, I still was able to snag all of these. The '69 Camaro and '83 Hurst/Olds were bought at Michaels for $13 and $14 respectively after their 20% off all regular priced items. After this spree, I probably won't be able to buy any more kits for about another year, but boy did I have fun, LOL!! My wife even talked me into the Grease Ford, the AMT Shelby Mustang and the AMT '70 Chevelle, and yes, there were still some kits left on the shelf when I was done, lol.
  2. That's another masterpiece Randy! Well done in every way!

  6. That is totally awesome and very cool!! The airbrush painter did a fantastic job and the overall build is top notch!
  7. I've been seeing this thread a lot lately, so I guess I'll add mine. Polar Lights 1966 Batmobile pre-painted snap kit, AMT 1989 Batmobile, Polar Lights Ghostbusters ECTO-1, Starsky and Hutch Ford Torino, The Bandit's T/A, and The Gumball Rally Yellow Camaro.
  8. That's a beauty! Great paint job, I love the color!

  20. Thank you Brandon! Thanks Roger! Thank you Francis, I appreciate it. I've always liked the Cowl Induction hoods, and since I cut the scoop out of the kit's stinger hood for my Gumball Rally Camaro, this was the natural replacement.
  21. Good gravy that's a gorgeous paint job!! The whole thing is looking fantastic so far!!
  22. Thanks Bill! I try to include as much info on my builds as possible, sometimes too much I think, lol. Thank you Snake! Thanks Albert! Thanks Cliff! Thanks Mike! Thank you Lee. The wheels are from a used lot I bought on ebay earlier this year so I have no idea which kit they are from. The way the kit wheels mount to the axles, there is no actual typical wheel back. It's just a pin that goes inside a small diameter round piece that then glues to the center of the back of the wheel. I was able to work around a way to use the pin and small round piece on the back of the non-kit wheel. thanks Guido!
