  1. Very nice! Great color and paint, and I really like the tailpipes!
  2. Nice looking 'Cuda!!
  3. Yes, you are exactly right, for some reason the pledge didn't cover the Vallejo very well. Maybe I needed one or more coats. From what I've tried with pledge, a spoon just doesn't seem big enough to get a good practice gauge on with an airbrush. Most of my spoon paint tests, whether it's with lacquers or craft paints, get pledge brushed on as a clear and they all turn out exceptional. If I could ever get a whole car to turn out as good as some of my spoons, I'd be very happy, LOL.
  4. The Jurassic Park car is Tamiya TS-18 Metallic Red with 2 coats of Pledge brushed on with a soft paint brush. The Zombie Island car is craft paint with 2 coats of pledge also brushed on with a soft paint brush. The Flintstones car is craft paint with 2 coats of pledge airbrushed on, and the Gumball Rally Camaro is Vallejo Model Color Light Yellow with 2 coats of pledge brushed on with a soft paint brush. The soft paint brush I used is not quite 1/2" wide, more like 3/8". Sorry only one is a dark color, but these are what I've used pledge on, I normally use it mostly on interior seats, dashboards, and door panels.
  5. Very nice! Looks right in pink!
  6. Thanks for the compliments guys, I appreciate it!
  7. Looks good to me! Stance is nice and I like the wheels!
  8. Great weathering, it sure looks the part.
  9. This one is Lindberg's 1967 Olds 442. The color is Craftsmart Deep Bronze Metallic craft paint and is cleared with Decoart Gloss Varnish, both sprayed through my Paasche H airbrush. The interior is Apple Barrel Pure White craft paint and the black is just Stynylrez black primer, both also airbrushed, with a coat of pledge floor gloss on the seats, dash, and door panels. I added parts box tires with RWL decals from Fireball Modelworks, and the wheels are from the AMT 1969 Olds 442 kit with the spokes painted with Tamiya X-10 Acrylic Gunmetal. I also added door locks, valve stems, heater hoses and ignition wires for added details and the window trim is BMF. The final fit was a little tricky, but this was a pretty decent and well detailed kit otherwise. Thanks for looking!
  10. Outstanding and flawless as usual Randy! Great color and details!
  11. Looks good! Great stance, and the wheels really set it off.
  12. Looks Fantastic Marcos! Great engine details. That's very close to the colors I will be doing my AMT '70 Monte Carlo in pretty soon.
  13. Very nice! One of my all-time favorite NASCAR schemes, being a long time Scooby Doo fan. I built one when they first came out and the decals got the better of me. I'll eventually try to do both the purple and black versions, maybe in a couple of years.
  14. Well done! Looks excellent!
  15. Very nice!! I love the color!
  16. Looks good! My Ollie's had this and the 2009 and 2012 Corvette Coupes recently for $9.99. Nice to see they build up well, even though I didn't buy any, lol.
  17. Nice looking two-tone.
  18. Well done!
  19. Very nice!
  20. That looks awesome! Great looking engine with nice details. I love the paint job!
  21. Thanks Ray! Thanks Eric! Thanks Rex! Thank you Trevor! That's actually my long term goal to do as many participant cars as possible with the kit selection available. Some of them are pretty hard to come by, but maybe in time. Thanks Gareth! Thank you Roger! Yes, there's quite a difference between indoor and outdoor. I usually try to get both lighting samples, especially with metallic paint jobs. Thanks Larry!
  22. I finished up my Shelby Cobra from the movie Gumball Rally. The color is a custom mix of Decoart Dazzling Metallics craft paint sprayed through my airbrush, and cleared with Pledge Floor Gloss. The interior is Jet Black Apple Barrel craft paint coated with Decoart Duraclear Satin Varnish. I added spark plug wires, the tell-tale Cibie driving lights, and the bumper mounted antenna for extra detail. I did miss a thing or two and couldn't get the right front stance to look right, but I am very happy with it overall. This was a nice kit and a fun little build of probably my favorite car and one of my favorite movies. I'm hoping to do 6 or 7 more of the cars from the movie if and when I can get the proper kits to replicate the cars. My next project though, will be Dom's Charger from the original Fast and Furious movie, a kit my son got me for Father's Day last year. You can also see the difference in the metallic color between the indoor and outdoor pics. As always, thanks for looking!!
  23. Very sharp! Great color combo!
  24. I checked out my Ollie's again this morning and they actually had 5 of the '55 Chevy Cameo's and a '55 Corvette as well as the usual newer Camaro, Corvette and Escalade kits. I snagged a Cameo and another 2006 Camaro Concept. I also went to Michael's and used the 30% off coupon and a $5 rewards voucher from a previous purchase to get the '69 Camaro for under 8 bucks (regular $17).
