Who told you they're doing away with the 40% coupon? The only thing I heard the 40% all models sale will end in February. Not the 40% coupon as a whole. They will always have the 40% on their website.
-
You don't need to wait for the 40% coupon. Go to the Hobby Lobby site on your phone, click coupon link to Bring to store. They can scan the barcode from your phone.

LOL

With so many LHS closing, yeah... Hobby Lobby can save you money at on a $30 kit if you find what you're looking for. Buying online like scalehobbyist or hobbylinc even if they're on sale, you need to consider tax AND s&h charges.

Well now that one I have never seen before. Looks like a fun build to do. I'd wouldn't mind doing that one myself.

FSM - The Automotive Content Thread

Pffttt... FSM... the evil stepchild of forums. The mods there are too idiotic and stupid. Easily to offend because they will run to the whiny ones' aid over offended posts. -
Ha! I do too whenever I get the chance. I like to tell the missus "Hey, let's stop at Micheals for a sec. I wanna see what they got new in model kit stock" LOL!! Most time is the same old, same old. With the new year in full swing,. I've got to make another stop soon.

The first link is cool. -
Funny how some car addicts can be what I call "rivet counters" in the car modeling world. Granted some folks can get irked over inaccuracies of a '69 Camaro, '57 Ford, '49 Merc, etc... Don't get me wrong, I've had my fair share of kits fighting me from start to finish. Rarely I've any that ended up being tossed out of frustration because it isn't worth putting any more effort or time in it. I would build the '69 Camaro but who am I to say they're inaccurate? Do i care? No. I could care less or know the difference as long as it looks good built. I personally don't give in to the experts (or dare I say, "model car snobs") that they're not shaped right and whatnot. Who cares. This is a hobby and I'm not one to get stressed over some experts saying it's inaccurate. I get enough stress at work. I build (and cook) to de-stress from real life problems.

24 hours?!? Heck, I can get one done in 45 minutes to an hour f I build straight out of the box minus the paint jobs. LOL! The Stealth would be a good candidate. I'll be watching this one.

No need to wait for 40% sales on model kits. You can use their 40% coupon if you go to the Hobby Lobby website on your phone, click on Coupon to take to store.. It will bring up the barcode for 40% coupon. I'm surprise folks here don't realize you don't need to wait for a sale on model kits to get the 40% off.? But you can use it for other model related tools and paints though. I've saved tons of money using the Hobby Lobby coupon through my phone. Of course, you can't use the 40% coupon on sale items. -

So the only fit issues were the rims and tires? Other than that, it looks really nice. Have you tried using white wall tires from another source?
