Did you check to see what the other price stickers were marked as? I’m not too surprised if they increase the prices on kits. Even their paint lines are priced more than most LHS and online stores. Vallejo paints... $4.99?!? Really, Hobby Lobby?

Walked in my local Barnes & Nobles the other night and saw the April issue of Fine Scale mag. Are you kidding me? Nope. Not worth the price for the mag even with the 10% Barnes and Nobles membership discount. Pitiful to say the least....

Michael's is pitiful when it comes to model stock, let alone modeling related tools and supplies.

The seller is charged the fee, not the buyer. That's why you won't see the charge. eBay found a way to make money to keep the site running. If I have something to sell, I'll post on my local Craigslist or OfferUp. I've sold numerous stuff this way. I got lucky a couple years ago when a seller had a bunch of unbuilt model kits for sale. I bought a couple from him. Look on your local Craigslist or Offer Up - you'll never know what you'll find.

I know exactly what you're saying. I've been burned countless times on bids only to get outbidded at the very last minute. And too many times I've seen a pattern of bid sniping as well. God, how I hate that. It didn't take very long to avoid auctions on eBay. I'd rather go the "Buy it Now" option. Sometimes there is a link to Make an Offer. Those are even better as long as you're not low balling the seller. I've had quite a few successful offers to the sellers that are reasonable.

Ok, this is for the mods...which makes absolutely no sense. Why was my word edited???? I mean, come on... it’s not even an offensive swear word!! It’s an very common word used everyday. Don’t be like FSM... LOLOLOL! Not trying to be rude, but seriously. No one gets that offended by that word. I can understand certain swear words but this is beyond ridiculous to censor. We’re all not Amish here. Just trying to wrap my head around your crazy decision to censor an innocent common word.

Yes!! That's the one. The first couple episodes wasn't too bad then he really got on my nerves. Too much talking about the history of the car not enough of the how they restored it.

Bitchin' Rides is BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH. Never liked his work. Now.... Iron Resurrection is great. I'd rather see Martin brothers work their magic on cars than Bitchin' Rides. Let's not forget that Junkyard restorer show. Guy gets done with his restoration only none of then seem to run right. The other one that really annoys me is that Mopar "expert" - I forget the name of the show. Too much talking not enough actual work. It's like Shut up already! LOLOLOLOL!!!

American Pickers... fake reality show. Used to watch it but after awhile you kinda get suspicious that there’s no way any of it is real and unedited. Kinda like Storage Wars where they plant items in these “abandoned” storage sheds. But hey, it’s entertainment for suckers. I don’t waste my time tuning into American Pickers.

Stopped by to my local HL today. No paints marked down and same old, same old model kit stock. It was very busy there too. Probably folks taking advantage to use the 40% coupon for the last time.
