  1. The Quiet Place.... what a stupid movie. A wasted hour and a half, two hours of my time watching that.
  2. I wasn’t irked today but I sure as heck irked somebody on the road. LOL! Heading out to the store on arterial. Saw a ricer in a hurry to go nowhere and was caught behind an SUV going the state speed limit (55 mph). Couldn’t pass on the right because another SUV going same speed but slightly ahead. I catch up to the SUV in my lane. We all sorta boxed the ricer in with no where for him to pass. This went on for about 3 miles until I needed to get off an exit. Ricer still couldn’t pass for the white SUV is maintaining his proper speed limit. Now that’s what I call a Fathers Day Box-in.?
  3. Not today but been up for sale for a couple weeks. ‘69 Mercury Cougar. Red and black.
  4. Stopped by Ollie’s today and surprisingly they still have a few kits left. A lot of “Concept” Camaro, Chrysler 300, a few ‘72 GTO, about 3 or 4 1997 Mustang GT, International rig, and one ‘69 Dodge Daytona. Of course the leftover from last year, the Civil War Cannon kits....
  5. Wow... thanks for posting this. Incredible find.
  6. Now that summer is here, isuspect humidity is the cause. Again, I've never had an issue with it.
  7. You can head over to mcwfinishes.com. They have a wide range of accurate auto colors by year and make.
  8. Go big or go home...?
  9. Everybody is too technology dependent these days... especially the young folks. Imagine them going back to using rotary phone or pencil sharpener.
  10. Good idea in doing the survey. I will do it as well. All your points are valid complaints and it is a big problem with Ollie’s allowing these eBay sellers hoarding all of them and leaving the scraps for the rest of us. It’s time their home office and store managers to man up and stop making excuses. As the old saying goes; Money talks, BS walks. FWIW... I doubt anyone from Ollie’s will visit this forum to understand why folks are left out in buying any model kits in their stores because of the hoarding and greed by these eBay sellers. They don’t care.
  11. Yeah... and how long do you think that’ll last until it happens again later this year.
  12. Checked out mercari website since I've never heard of them. Had to laugh when I saw this ad: Godhand Nipper Broken | Mercari Yeah... I don't think so.?
  13. eBay already posted a few from Ollies. Car kits going anywhere from $19 - $40 each, Rigs going anywhere from $40 upward to $60 depending on the rig kit.?
  14. If and when they do, they're usually the old Lindberg kits.
  15. Wait... he actually spray painted it on his truck bed without any primer?!?!? Not for nothing, I've done a bit of body work but every autobody business knows all cars needs to be treated with primer first. That product is nothing but a gimmick. They're no different than any old spray paint.
  16. Or go to this site: www.mcwfinishes.com They have a nice large comprehensive color line for all years and automobile makes. I'm planning on picking up a few bottles myself.
  17. I’m tempted to go back and grab the Super Boss dragster rig. Must resist..... LOL!
  18. Oh nice haul! Especially the Corvair kit.
  19. I remember building this kit when it first came out. Nicely done!
  20. Hey, it’s blue, long and low. A nice cruiser. Good job.
  21. Shiny. Well done!
  22. Other kits they had were what larman posted. I was tempted to grab the Plymouth GTX and the '72 GTO. Must resist......??
  23. Stopped by my local Ollie's store and got these...
  24. Papa John's pizza commercial with Shaq. Really? The cashier looked surprised that the tall guy in a wig is Shaquille O'Neal? Fake...
