  1. Stopped at the New Hartford Walmart. None there at all. Maybe I'll check the Walmart I went Thursday night again.
  2. I noticed that too. LOL!!
  3. My first car was a ‘64 Dart. Slant 6 push button automatic. Man, I’d love to own it again.
  4. Haven’t watched it yet but kept forgetting to DVR it.
  5. They did have a Ford Torino Fastback I shoulda grabbed. Maybe over the weekend at another Walmart with the missus.?
  6. Yeah... I think it's priced for the semi kit. Still a good price though for Walmart. I was tempted on the Nova Wagon kit though. I was surprised with the small box size.
  7. God no. That show is the biggest waste of time. He spends more time yapping and quizzing than actually getting anything accomplished. Stopped watching that show after 4 episodes.
  8. After looking at the pic, right away I knew something didn’t look right. Then again, it’s Yahoo Entertainment news...?
  9. While grocery shopping, I decided to head over to the Toys department. Didn’t take me long to spot a cardboard display with the word “MODELS” on it. Looked they were picked over but... I grabbed the last Grumpy’s Vega kit. Not bad for $19.97. Some kits are priced at $24.97 though. They had some 6 pack cheapo generic “hobby paint set” with brush for $7. For those in N.Y., now is the time to check your local Walmart stores.
  10. I get MT channel thru Spectrum...
  11. The GTX idea with 4 mufflers definitely gave me an idea to add to a future build.
  12. Well.... there's always a New Hartford store. I highly doubt they will have any in stock. Same for Herkimer or Rome stores.
  13. I hear ya. The mods will do that even if it’s an innocent phrase in place of the actual swear words. I don’t get it. We’re all ADULTS here. Don’t kid yourselves that we get offended by a swear word. We’ve all heard worse in our lives in real life. Not to start up but geez.... get over the power trip of editing simple slang words. No one really gets offended by them anymore. Ridiculous, petty and childish to replace it with “BLAH-BLAH-BLAH-BLAH” Just telling’ it like the truth...
  14. By the way... he never bothered to paint the Little Red Wagon body. Makes no sense even though it was molded in red. Geez.... put a little more effort into it. And for the love of God, apply the decals last. LOL!
  15. Looked again this past Thursday at Walmart. No kits. Heck.... they haven’t been restocking any grocery items in the last month. Why do I even bother wasting my time doing my grocery shopping at Walmart this past month when they have minimum staff working to restock essential groceries? Next week, I’m heading out to another Walmart or Hannafords. LOLOL !!
  16. Last night, I stumbled on a show called Steve Magnante’s Super Models. He recreates models with accurate parts using model parts of different auto kits. Just finished watching an episode where recreated Jimmy Allison’s ‘68 GTX Silver Bullet. Wow! The episode I happened to stumble upon (I missed the first 15 minutes) he was recreating an accurate Little Red Wagon. So, I immediately DVRed future episodes of his show. So... look in MotorTrend Channel on Friday nights and DVR it.
  17. LOL! I remember as a kid in elementary school whenever we had a substitute bus driver (he had red hair 50s style, always with a toothpick or chewed gum) that liked to drive fast. Funny to watch him shift gears fast as he accelerated. LOLOLOLOL!!!! But hey, he got us home in record time but too fast to get to school. LOL!
  18. Red Bull has zero respect for authority when no means no. They chose to ignore it. What’s next? Bungee jumping off Mount Rushmore or running with the buffaloes in Yellowstone?
  19. Looks like it can pass as a modernized Barracuda to me. Yeah the stance is a bit too low.
  20. Hmmm.... even though I walked in every single aisle in the toys department last Thursday night, still didn't see any model kits.
  21. Checked my local Walmart these laat couple weeks. None in Central N.Y. I think it's a regional thing for Walmart.
  22. Meh... stance is too low, looks like it's to imitate a Mustang up front, not too crazy on the lines on the body style. I can deal with the tail light choice. It looks as if they're combining the '69 - '70 Nova to a Mustang look. Today's auto designers have zero imagination in the design department. So.... a hard pass for me. People forget Nova means No go in Spanish. Lolol!
  23. I'd love to see the look of lost and bewilderment of young folks today figure out how to drive a push button automatic transmission automobile. ROFLMAO!
  24. We call them tanks of the era. A friend of mine had a Cordoba - unsure of year though. Long hood, big and roomy too. LOL!
