https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/joey-bosa-has-a-message-for-blind-officials-open-your-eyes-and-do-your-job/ar-AAP9V5g?li=BBnb7Kz Not only fans are fed up with the blind incompetent refs, the players are p***ed too.

Link is there...

Another prime example of why I stop watching NFL games. The refs are complete idiots. THE worse call of the year. Roughng the Passer?! He barely touched him!! The QB fell to his knees, not took the knee. Too much stupidity by the referees in these games. NFL Fans Are Furious With Penalty Called On Chase Young (msn.com)

At Walmart (at least one store)
BlackSheep214 replied to Classicgas's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Certain kits are priced at $24.95 - mostly the Semis and Coca Cola kits, the rest at $19.95. Therefore, you did not get a $5 instant savings. The trike kits are $14.95 each. -

HA! Good luck on that rumour. Not happening in my Walmart stores. -
Walmart a little pricey?
BlackSheep214 replied to goldfinger's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Yup... Walmart has other distributors to stock some of their products. Not everything is stocked by Walmart online. -
Wow... I never knew. I had assumed it was Revell. Never heard of Addar. Talk about a really old brand back then. I found it very interesting to see the other SuperScenes available. The WW1 Dogfight one would have been a cool one to get. I used to watch all the Planet of the Apes series on twlevision as a kid. Fun times then. Thank you for clarifying the make of those old relic bottle kits of yesteryear. I wonder if anyone still has any around. It would be cool to see them.

The other night, I was unpacking some of my older model kits of my youth/teen years from boxes. I found this kit (photo below) and decided I want to give it a proper restoration. Strip old paint, repaint, new decals, a new background, fishing line to suspend it, and clean & polish the bottle and seal it in with a cork. I've always loved that kit and it has some sentimental value to me. I guess it's because it was a cool kit.

Same here. They restocked on the display cube and the others were on herself display. They had more different series Trike kits. May pick up another one. -
The other night, I was pulling out a few of my old model kits from boxes from my youth/teen years. The pic of the kit was one I've always loved so much through the years, I refused to part with it. Now, it will be time to give it a proper restoration from polishing the bottle, strip the old paint off the space capsules, repaint them with new decals, new fishing lines, and a new background photo. To top it off, a cork to close up the bottle opening. This is a good excuse to start this in the New Year. May tear it down ahead of time for prep work.

Incredible! That would ideal to display in a museum at the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor. If it was me, I'd donate it to them.

What kits do you collect?
BlackSheep214 replied to carbuilder1950's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Hmmm... I spy the Fire Fighter and the yellow Mustang II Cobra Street Racer kits. I'd be happy to take them off your hands if you need to cut down your stash. ROFL!! -

My local Walmart restocked their model kit display last week. Will see if they did this week. If they're selling, they'll restock. Depends on the area or locality of Walmart stores. -

Yup... same here. Although I will keep an eye out on kits from my youth and teen years and buy it.... IF the price is reasonable. I’ve been fortunate to acquire a few kits from those years of my past again, including some I wished I had built back then. There are still quite a few I’d love to get again. -
Let’s not forget they’ll pack a small item in a large padded envelope. Wut......

I don't hate football at all. I love the game. Heck, I used to play fantasy football in various leagues. It's the political BS by these high salaried players getting involved to change the game to get everyone offended. And NFL Commissioner is no better in putting his foot down dealing with the cancel culture and woke crowd. He needs to man up and return the NFL back to how fun and exciting the game was once was. The taunting rule must be eliminated for good! Folks forget there are various personalities of star players. I see nothing wrong with players getting excitable during the game. Remember Dieon Sanders? Icky Woods and others? Love him or hate him.. he and others is the reason they made football enjoyable to watch.

Tim Donnelly passes 77 years old EMERGENCY! "Chet Kelly"
BlackSheep214 replied to ranma's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
I do recall someone here posting a thread on the real EMERGENCY Paramedic truck. A real piece of work to operate with no power steering and a beast to drive. LOL! -
Here's the thing... those were glory days of all model kits, accurate or not. MPC, Revell, AMT, Monogram, Jo Han and other classic brands were the norm back then. Paints were Pactra and Testors square bottles.

I loved watching EMERGENCY on Friday nights! Wow... didn't know he was still alive. Sad to hear.
