  1. Yep, and the Calsonic decal that goes over the front louvers, would do me in. Looking forward to seeing this. Good luck.

You got it right on the nose Jim. It's inspired by the F-Bomb Camaro, but I took the bomber theme a little further. Thanks very much.
  6. Some big thanks going out to Al Metheny and Al Rich for helping out big time on parts lately. Both great traders.
  7. This is some great work. I'll be following this one.
  8. Looking good Bernie. That looks sharp.
  9. Very good work. Most impressive.

Thanks Harry. I was all set to leave the ill fitting t-tops off until I had this idea. I did glue them down with a lil Elmers though. They are so light they slide right off from the slightest movement of the model. Sounds like it would be a cool race. I'd like to see 'em. Feel free to post them up in this thread. Thanks everyone for the compliments. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. The only downside right now is, I am fresh out of covered display room. No more cases. or room to put a case.
  11. I don't know how I missed this thread. Some seriously cool work going on here.

Finished this up today. A Monogram 1/24 '79 Camaro. Features a 1/25 Viper V10. Wheels and tires from the Mustang Mach III concept. Lowered the stance a bit for the pro-touring look. Paint is Krylon Silver and Italian Olive. As always, comments, criticisms, and suggestions are kindly welcome.
  13. Completed. See some better shots in the Under Glass section.
  14. This is what the rubystone red looks like.
  15. Very interesting. I'm told 3D printed parts tend to have a texture. Any issue with that?
  16. Very cool build. I dig it.
  17. Yep, me too. Nice work. I like the paint choices and the design. A little masking tape would have really helped you out when painting the bed,
  18. Great colors, great detailing, and an expertly done engine swap. Bravo.
  19. I think it looks less so, if you stretch out the wheelbase. More pics here if interested. http://s53.photobucket.com/user/Jantrix/library/50%20Ford%20Rat?sort=3&page=1
  20. Would it be possible for a company like Round 2 to reverse engineer from a surviving kit? I've heard they are doing some of that restoring old custom parts.
  21. Yep, warm water, and just long enough for the decal to loosen.
  22. Looking good! I love me a surf rod!
