  1. Could not make out a word of this. Complete gibberish. So someone else has to find you healthier food, and then get out of your way so you can work? How about taking a little personal responsibility? My wide load is no ones fault but mine. It's no ones job to hand me a carrot stick.
  2. Dave, the mold release agent needs to be removed.
  3. Welcome back. I do remember some of those builds. Glad to see you are back at it.
  4. After a quick Google search, I spotted a LOT of Cheetahs with the BFGoodrich Radial TA's. And we know they are definitely available in scale.

    Evil Twinn

How did you accomplish the grey woodgraining? Pencil?
  6. That turned out great. Nice work.

    40 Ford

Looks great. I like it a lot.
  8. I have the Model King re-issue of the gasser version. Trust me when I say it achieved parts donor status within seconds of opening the box.
  9. I like it. Lets see some more.
  10. That's reason enough to give it a try. Side mirrors are always a pain. Thanks very much. I'll find out where he got it.
  11. One of my club members showed up with a bottle of this. He had yet to try it out. http://www.amazon.com/Crafters-Pick-Ultimate-Glue-8-Ounce/dp/B005IR9I3U/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1402663101&sr=8-3&keywords=non+toxic+super+glue Has anyone tried this yet? It says it's for plastics and more. The size of the spout makes me think that it's thick stuff like Aleenes Tacky Glue.
  12. There is no way I could maintain interest in building three of the same kit, unless one was a race car, one was a 4x4 and one was a post apocalyptic zombie killer. My hat's off to you sir, I look forward to seeing the work.
  13. I wish I had that problem.
  14. Welcome Kirk. I'm over in Tampa.
  15. I like the look and theme of it. It looks like you foiled the fender guard but not the windshield frame. The frame would really be improved by using foil.
  16. Looking forward to seeing it. Great paint so far.
  17. Okay, I'm within a few days of finishing the V28 (which would have been a great Cannonballer if I'd thought about it) so I have decided to start and finish what will likely be my last Cannonball racer, for a good long while. After that I've gotta get some of the WIP's that I have, finished. So Nick, go ahead and change my entry to a Monogram 1969 GTO. The 'Cuda will have to wait until I have a better printer for decals. Here's my un-started kits.
  18. Top shelf work right there. Really nice.
  19. I'm diggin it! Given any thought to making your own flat bed from basswood? I've done it twice and it makes a huge difference.
  20. I guess its better than baseball cards in the spokes.
  21. Thanks Danno. Working all the little details now.
  22. Thanks guys. Mike, I'm gonna leave the wheels as-is. It took a while to find wheels and tires I liked for this build due to the fact that it's 1/24, so I'm gonna play it safe. I should have a sneak peek of the nose art today. EDIT. Okay unless I find some others soon, likely no nose art. Here's the ones I printed myself on clear film. Not very nice looking. The color isn't dense enough. Not to mention the decal setting solution penetrated the flat clear and destroyed the decals and the flat clear on the body. Very weird. I've never had that happen.
