  1. Yep, pulled this off the Revell Facebook page.
  2. That's just brilliant. I have a rather bad Revell Model A panel kit and the remains of a beer wagon that are going to find their way together. Much obliged.
  3. Now there's something we don't see very often. That looks great. Nice work.
  4. Without knowing what kits/parts you have access to, it's hard to give advice. I'm thinking about the Johan Mercedes 500K Coupe body myself.
  5. Yep, I have always hated the Avanti wheel wells, but love everything else. Great work going on here.
  6. It's the whole wrong engine. And yet is has the molded exhaust left over form the original kit, but it's nothing a dedicated builder cant overcome.
  7. Too WICKED! Nicely done.
  8. Man that molded body looks so crisp, it looks like its a larger scale. Can't wait to see the build.
  9. Well done. I hadn't realized that issue had shipped yet.
  10. Thanks so much, it was a very fun build with all the woodwork. I have this one waiting on the shelf, I'm thinking about a highboy on a Revell deuce chassis.
  11. You are pretty much dead on the mark there.
  12. A little 70% rubbing alcohol will take care 'o that. Very cool. I got plenty of lacquer thinner. I will flush the brush with more thinner following each use, fear not. Thanks for all the advice guys.
  13. Here's my '34 shop truck.
  14. Wow. I hadn't thought of using Future, that would make a lot of sense. Thanks very much.
  15. What should I use? Distilled water? Thinner?
  16. If I recall correctly, there is an issue of the engine being too tall to fully close the hood with this kit. Did you run into this problem? Great work so far.
  17. Yeah, that's it for me in a nutshell. Engine swapping is a huge issue with 1/24 scale. I'm building the Revell '37 Ford and had to trade for engine because nothing I had looked big enough in it. I have several 1/24 in the collection but I plan way in advance for parts.
  18. Excellente!
  19. That sounds like every one of my builds. Enjoy.
  20. Wow! That's aces!
  21. That is just amazing. Tell us how you did the bamboo. I have a surf rod in the planning stages and I've been thinking about that.
  22. This is just fantastic. I've enjoyed every step of this build.

Hand painted? Well, that surely sets you out from the crowd. That is fantastic work. Welcome to the forum.
  24. Yeah I was a bit heavy handed with the dremel milling bit and it punched through in a larger opening than I wanted. I will be addressing those holes again tonight. I'll thin the plastic out some more and add a little more rot.
