I agree with TJ. I recommend this . https://www.testors.com/product-catalog/testors-brands/model-master/metalizer-lacquer-paint/sprays Specifically the titanium color. Availbale in most reasonably stocked hobby shops, it looks great. These wheels are sprayed with the stuff.

I bought one of the gasser kits, but after five minutes looking at the kit I knew it was just gonna be a donor kit. I've a gasser Avanti planned with the 409 and gasser parts planned.

IMHO, the Clooney, Batman and Robin is the worst Batmobile. An open cockpit? Yeesh. Anyway, I build this one and had the same issues. I did it in semi-gloss black and for the chromy bits, I used a heavy black wash. The result I rather liked and it gave it an industrial look that I liked. I also kept the center wing as one piece. I won't hijack your thread by posting pics, but if you want to see them, I can PM you. Nice work. I like the blue tinted parts.

That's my kind of hot rod. Nicely done. I have the kit and will likely do something very similar.
