  1. Rebuilding vintage built ups is a big part of the enjoyment of this hobby for me yet I don't know if there is a site dedicated to this or not. I'd like to find if there was. Good idea for sure.
  2. WOW! Quite a rare piece of history. Being a native LI'er, the BM cars are tip of the top to me. Thanks for posting this.
  3. Thanks all! I appreciate your comments!
  4. After being on and off the bench for many years I finally finished this old Ford. Been a busy year for me with life stuff but with 15 minutes here and 30 minutes there I got it done. Thanks for looking, comments welcome. If interested build album at the link. http://public.fotki.com/bigfordpilot/my_built_model_cars/built_models/in_progress/50-ford/
  5. Exactly. I stopped watching most of the "car" shows because of that. I think "Chasing Classic Cars" has a good formula, and I still watch that.
  6. Any word yet on aftermarket decals for this Fusion kit?
  7. Sure. I'd take it for a spin.
  8. Good box art work for sure. Looks like the G4 has a little toe - in issue there on the right front.
  9. Wow that's a good looking conversion. I agree about the repaint. Perhaps a Grabber color?
  10. Nice work there on your coupe conversion. I'd like to see that one finished!
  11. Sharp. Looks like that Mk2 could have got you home rather quickly.
  12. This Chrysler, pic circa 1954
  13. Then there was this tin toy..had one of these when I was kid, loved it. I'd like to have another one.
  14. Been wanting one of these for a while, finally scored one for a decent price. and just got in a PowerSlide decal sheet for it
  15. Agreed. I'd like to see this one as a Retro Deluxe issue with those parts.
  16. You are welcome. Good luck in your hunt. This is a nice kit and worth it IMHO.
  17. Here's a '60 survivor I have.
  18. Sharp. Good color combo for that car. Nice job!
  19. I dug this out of my stash and thought I'd do a follow up "what's in the box" to my earlier post on the split window kit. For those interested, enjoy! Drag Strip Accessories This kit was open when I bought it and this photo etched fret was in it. I don't think it came with it new.
  20. I have a Prestige issue of the roadster in my stash. I'd be glad to do a "what's in the box" for y'all if there's any interest?
  21. No problems Steve but thanks for the thought. I understand that sometimes these threads take on a life of their own. I find most of the side discussions interesting...to say the least!
  22. Another old favorite back again. I like this kit a lot. This one is going to be built as the Mr. Speed Bonneville car box art style with those cool blue tinted windows. Once I save up some lunch money I'm going to get at least one more for the custom version. Here's what's in box for anyone interested http://media.fotki.com/1_p,rrkwdtkrktqfsgbxwqbdrwgkrgdf,vi/gkbrfgwkxrwkqwktqsxrgdrgdsbk/1/192875/882193/stude014-vi.jpg
