  1. Looks great Steve. Good color choice. IIRC that was a very popular color as I remember seeing many 59 Fords of every trim level in that tone and combination.
  2. Yes it is. I built it from the reissue kit. Thanks.
  3. Nice work Bob. Well done!
  4. Thanks for clearing that up. Here's a few more building alternative schemes. A little imagination and kit bashing will be required. Just some food for thought.
  5. Yeah. Me too,
  6. Nice job. I like the color and wheel and tire combo.
  7. And an alternative scheme Hope these help get you started.
  8. Beautiful job. You really brought out the best in that kit. Well done!
  9. I used the valve covers from the AMT 59 El C when I built this semi clone many years ago.
  10. To add to all the excellent choices above which I agree with 100%, The chrome reversed from the original AMT issue Ala Kart kit.
  11. LOL! I think it is! Your WIP of it sure looks good though. Love the stance and wheels on it.
  12. I just got this one in yesterday, couldn't resist it. I like how the SB headers and blower are glued to the 4 banger.
  13. Wow, now those are ugly!
  14. Yep. I have a few. Love 'em.
  15. Real nice work! I worked in a LM dealership in the 70's and drove many of those. Some were screwed together very well and..well...some were not. Your model is superb. Thanks for sharing.
  16. I like "The Naked City" . Lots of cool vehicles and other things in a real early 60's city setting. "Peter Gun" is cool too.
  17. My latest project. I picked this original AMT build up from an auction site. I always liked the looks of these. When I was a kid on Long Island the first time I saw one on the road I thought it was a customized 60 Ford...well I was only 8 at the time!. Getting there Going for a look similar to this...without the skirts and different wheels.
  18. Thanks all! I appreciate your good words. Just might motivate me to do this pair. I've been gathering all the parts and supplies for them for some time.
  19. Simonize car wax. Takes me back my Grampa's garage in Maspeth Qeens while I was "helping" wax his '56 Buick Special...around 1961.
  20. Cool builds. I dig your style.
