so I found a person selling 24 drawer unit today and in a rush she gave me the wrong one. it was sealed in the box. I was also in a rush, so I didnt even check. she apologized numerous times when I contacted her, but I made out as I got an even better deal than I was expecting. If the small drawers dont work out, Ill do something else but for what I paid, i cant complain. the rest of my weekend...I could complain for hours haha

im not sure this will work on 1:25 scale, but on some of the tonka restoration videos, the restorer sprays paint onto a flat surface and "dips" the tire into the wet paint. NOTE: I HAVE NOT attempted this technique in any scale so IDK if it will work.

those style boxes were my first thought since theyre stackable. I try to buy US made stuff whenever possible but Ive heard a lot of good reviews on them. May have to bring some of my bigger parts with me and see how they fit haha

I know youre making it your own, and Im not a big preservationist but BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH did it look good on the cragars and slicks with the weathered body

Hey guys, I searched but didnt come up with anything, also please move if necessary... Im looking to get super organized with my loose parts. I want to separate everything into categories. In the past, I used the clear small "tackle" boxes, but now that Ive amassed some peoples collections etc, I need to rethink how I do this. Throwing stuff in empty model boxes isnt working anymore, esp now that Im trying to use up some of these parts Ive collected. As I separate, Im also going to be trading off/selling the stuff I dont want, that should help So, what are you guys using for containers? Thanks in advance, and if there are other threads you know of, please let me know and Ill delete this one

so I got this body in a pile of parts years ago...absolutely no other race car parts mixed in, no markings, etc. its obviously a late 70s to mid 80s gm race car (short track, nascar etc) but the flares are throwing me off. the door handle deletes are odd to me as well. has window clips and pinned trunk lid. any help is appreciated. if this is the wrong section mods, please move. thanks guys!

thank you. I accomplished my goal which was to extend the grillle surround so the nose wasnt flat. I ended up messing it up when I sanded it. I didnt see the extent of it until I put primer on it. thank you! Im hoping it comes out clean...but honestly Im just winging it haha -

been in a funk the last few days but I started on the rear end and threw some primer on the nose and doors. not a ton of work to do fillerwise, but Im not happy with the grille surround so that needs to be redone -
