  1. You're right, I thought I had included that but must've had a brain fart. Late 1960s Indy racer, I've also amended my first post. Thanks!
  2. Looking for the last five contingency sponsors for my current build, and unfortunately the best picture I have isn’t all that good. Late 1960s Indy racer featured in Paul Newman's Winning, based on Bobby Unser's Rislone special but with the smaller markings markings mixed up a bit. I figured I would check here to see if anyone recognizes any of them. Thanks in advance!
  3. Thanks, guys! The dash wasn't specified, but when I saw how well it fit the DeLorean tub I had to use it.
  4. That's a great collection and display, nice job!
  5. Very cool, nice work on this!
  6. Thanks! After they updated the light kit, I had to give it a try.
  7. Finding myself with too many DeLorean time machine parts, I decided to use some of them to make the Ecto-88 from Ready Player One. Built from the Polar Lights kit with a dash from MPC's Knight Rider KITT, my own custom decals, and a scanner from Evan Designs. A full writeup of the build is available here, and as always any comments/criticisms are welcome!
  8. Thanks for the suggestions and links, everyone! I have a set on the way now, fingers crossed it'll be the last thing I need to order for this build...
  9. Probably, but how visible it is depends on the base color. If you have a dark blue car with the dark red rectangle on top of that, there will likely be a visible edge - but no more than what you'd see with a vinyl sticker on a 1:1 car. If it's a yellow car with the dark red rectangle, you'd be hard pressed to see it even if you knew it was there.
  10. When I was a kid, it seemed like Bell helmet logos were included in every decal sheet in every model kit I had. Now that I need a couple, they're nowhere to be found in any recent kits I've picked up or on the few aftermarket contingency sponsor sheets I have. Does anyone know of a source?
  11. I've tried several, and my favorite is the stock sold by Bare Metal. Good quality, prints nice, thin, and works well with Micro Sol/Micro Set.
  12. That looks great, I really like that color!
  13. Nicely done! Are the rear windows solid decals or did you paint a white base first?
  14. Nicely done, it looks great in that color!
  15. Very impressive work, and that engine looks sharp!
