  1. Great choice of color for it, that looks great!
  2. Sharp looking Camaro, nicely done!
  3. Nice clean work, that looks great!
  4. Mostly scratch built, with a couple of details from my parts box. The WIP thread is available here, any comments/criticisms are welcome! I used two sets of 1/32 scale P-38 main landing gear tires to replicate the balloon tire look used in the comics, which are mounted on the inner wheels from a 1/25 Batmissile and fit with almost no modification needed. Paint is Tamiya TS-78 Field Gray, which was a nice middle ground among all the different shades used over the years. The seats were scratch built from floral wire and 0.080" styrene, and the shift lever is a straight pin with some insulation and craft beads around the base as a boot. The steering wheel is the last piece that came from my parts box...I was going to make one, but found this and it was too perfect to not use. Gauges are Slixx decals, and the pedals are sandpaper cut to shape and painted. The exhausts system is aluminum tubing, with different diameters added to make the muffler.
  5. The Hudson looks great in red, nicely done!
  6. Very slick, that looks great!
  7. Very cool! This project has been on my "to do" list for a bit, if you do get some interior pics I'd love to see how it came out.
  8. Very cool!
  9. The Studio Series is quite a bit smaller than the Leader Class: Leader Ironhide was released back in 2011, but can still be found on eBay for not too much. Modding him into a full detail truck wouldn't be easy, but since the body is all plastic it's not impossible, either.
  10. I don't know for certain, but looking at that front bumper I think it may be a recast of the one from Leader Class Ironhide. I wonder if you can use/modify other parts from that?
  11. Very cool project, that motor especially looks great
  12. Excellent work on this, I really like that color for it!
  13. Nice clean work, that looks great!
  14. Nice looking Nomad, that color really works with it
  15. Nice clean work on a tough kit, it looks great in that color
  16. Turned out great, nicely done!
  17. That's a great looking truck, nice job!
  18. Very nice work, I also have one that never got anywhere...seeing this I may have to give it another look.
  19. The chassis is now finished except for the front driveshaft. I'll install that once I get the engine in:
  20. Thanks, guys! The main rails are assembled from a few different widths of 0.080" rectangular stock. The biggest sections - between the axles - were .188" wide and taper cut on each end. Then smaller pieces were glued to the tops of these to create the raised sections over the axles and even smaller pieces were used to make the short sections at the ends. So each rail is made up of about five pieces, more or less arranged like this: I had considered cutting each one out of a single piece, but decided against it since it seemed like I would waste a lot of extra material that way. Plus, doing it this way I know that where I'm going to mount the body will be absolutely level and dimensions would be guaranteed to match side to side.
  21. Very nice, not a color you see on these too often but it looks great!
  22. Beautiful job on this
  23. Nice clean Chevy, looks great!
