  1. Thank you. That F40 still giving me nightmares. Was a tough build. Thanks! They are indeed. I started and cleaned up the body for that Dino in 2008. Test fitted couple of things, and put it back in the box. It was the first thing that I picked up on September 5th 2018. Been building it in my head for 10 years. Its Nissan's Bayside Blue, R34 GT-R color.
  2. Thanks guys! Mike - not sure about 4 more right away....but we'll get there!
  3. ..since I picked up my Exacto again. Managed to complete 4 models, which is about 4 more than I did 10 years prior to that! Thanks for the inspiration and support. Live long, build them all.
  4. Nice, don't see these built very often.
  5. Love the weathering. Awesome build.
  6. Cool, I'll be watching. Wanted to pick this kit up at some point.
  7. Good looking Cavallino.
  8. Neat looking car. Awesome build.
  9. Is that a Blackberry?
  10. That's very cool.
  11. Thanks, color turned better than I expected! Well, it has a little motor that spins rear wheels using the same power source that lights up the headlights. So it literally runs. Check WIP for detail. I see! Thank you!
  12. Very nice, love these cars.
  13. You know Jim, I have the old Tamiya kit, so maybe you'll get your wish - at some point
  14. Haha, funny you should say that. I just noticed that one of the wing mirrors in the pictures is "coming alive", i.e .coming out of the fender! When I was test fitting them, they were so snug, that I decided not to glue them at all, thinking that maybe I'll adjust them later. Totally forgot, and now I'm seeing the results of that! You mean the base? Its just a bottom of the display case it will be living in. Dust is a scale model cancer, and I usually seal them in individual boxes to stop that. Thanks all!
  15. Thanks - now to find time to finish that Z4 build I started even earlier!
  16. Paint checking like this is likely one of two things - paint applied too thick, or sprayed in a humid setting.
  17. This one took a bit longer than anticipated, but its completed at last! Old Tamiya kit, started as a box-stock build for a online contest, but didn’t get finished in time. Mid-build, as the box-stock requirement was lifted, some aftermarket decals and small additions like foil, etc were used to liven it up a bit. Yes, the lights work, and it does run! And a few on a base before it got sealed in the case and put on the shelf! And here is the link to WIP thread in case you missed it. Thanks! Alex
