  1. I just noticed that the view counter says zero on threads started since the update, even though they have replies. Everything else seems to be working for my iPad.
  2. I gotta say those are scratches of some kind. They seem to cross over each other in spots.
  3. Does Every Little Thing need to fit perfectly? If so, Get Back at it untill it does.?
  4. Wow. I just discovered the thread on building your machine shop. Working on engines must be easy for you with a setup like that.? http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/97646-background-diorama-flatheads-to-boxers-engine-rebuilders-new-tool-new-room/
  5. You should see this Guys engine thread.? http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/134212-big-three-engines-by-ftb/
  6. Shake the primer well. Spray it through a large straw into a container of some sort (I use plastic shot glasses). Then use a pipette to transfer it to your airbrush cup. I don’t even let it gas out any more because it wouldn’t need it if sprayed directly from the can onto the model. It DOES need to gas out however if you are going to store it in a secondary closed container. I like this method, as the un-decanted paint is still stored safely in the best possible container….the original can. Once there is not enough pressure to spray any more paint, I might puncture the can to drain the remaining drops.
  7. Nicely done!?
  8. FYI. Here is a screenshot of the instructions for a Revell ‘76 Torino (from spot model) and a pic I found of the ‘70 Torino engine.
  9. The wife just retired her Proctor Silex kettle that she’s had since the early ‘80s. It was actually still working, but getting rusty under the lid/handle. She loves the new one with auto shut-off, but I’ll bet it won’t last 40+ years...but then neither will we.? I have about a 15 year old Keurig for my coffee. It has a little basket for grounds so I don’t have to use any K-cups.?
  10. The tailgate doesn’t seem to fit quite right, but other than that, it’s very nice. I really like your diorama too!?
  11. They are both different skills that CAN be learned to one degree or another, depending on the individual involved. I can paint a house or a model car, but I can’t paint a portrait…and I couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket.?JMO
  12. Interior probably needs a good scrubbing.

  18. I was a sheetmetal worker most of my life and WISS was the only snips I would buy. Looks like quality has gone downhill since I bought my last pair.
  19. SWEET looking old Chevy! I like ‘em clean too, and that one is super clean.?
  20. It’s beautiful…just beautiful.?
  21. Looking good. Nice work on the vinyl roofs.?
  22. Beautiful work.? Love the paint job and chrome trim removal. I have a couple of these and have been putting them off because I’ve never built one with opening doors.?
