  1. That’s what you used for hose clamps correct?
  2. Interpretation of the word “hobby” can vary wildly.
  3. BLAH_BLAH_BLAH is all the cussing that’s allowed, so it’s best just to ignore responses that come out of nowhere.
  4. Clue solution is Colonel Mustard in the study with the candlestick.
  5. I’m working on this one….haven’t got the suspension finalized yet.
  6. For anyone researching this in the future…the Revell Moving Violation ‘41 Willys pickup has a pretty nice one. I just found this in my stash while looking for some deep dish rims.?
  7. End over end Jill tumbled after following Jack up the hill.
  8. Nice progress on a cool project. I’ve always liked the look of these trucks, especially with the older Gladiator front end.
  9. And I’ll be borrowing this idea for gluing a spindle dead centre on a rim. It’s about the only thing my cheapo lathe is good for since something went wrong with the electronics.? Nice progress Bill!?
  10. Name the kits that some of my spare parts come from I try to do, but it seems that it is beyond my recollection.
  11. Interesting builds keep me motivated, and simple ones can be made interesting through modifications.
  12. Wow! The talent and dedication and perseverance of that man is unbelievable. How that wreck didn’t totally devastate him is amazing. The car is absolutely gorgeous. I wonder how much it sold for??
  13. Really nice tutorials. Thanks to the Creator, and Jairus for posting them. The door activated dome light is a little more involved than I want to get, but I wouldn’t mind seeing a bit more detail on that “Layton hinge” idea. Anyone?
  14. I made the first couple of castings of the quick change differential that I scratch built.
  15. I have always looked at those airbrushes as toys. IDK…they may be capable of doing a nice job, but I can’t see them lasting long? From looking at your work on here Roger, I can’t help but wonder what you’ve been using up till now? They can’t be all rattle canned can they? Buy one good quality airbrush and you will never need to buy another. OK, I’ll get off my soapbox now.?
  16. Fabulous work John! It looks like this one is going to turn out as stunning as the sierra fawn one is!?
  17. Interesting project. I’ll follow along.??
  18. Problematic model kits frequently go back in the box!
  19. I remade the center section in two halves. It will make it a lot easier to cast. I drilled a shallow pilot hole for some 5/32” axle tubes. The tube will accept a piece of coat hanger for an axle. Once the resin halves are glued together, I can drill straight through for a one piece tube. It’s not perfect, but good enough for my purposes and way better than the MPC piece in my mind.?
  20. She’s a real beauty Marc!?
  21. There are or has been conversion parts available. It wouldn’t be too hard t scratch build one either….the interior and other mods might be tricky? https://rmrmodels.com/products/1963-1971-gladiator-grill?_pos=1&_sid=e33fd8e22&_ss=r
  22. Looking great! Nice project.?
  23. That is a beautiful looking chop job!? Can’t wait to see what you do with this one.
  24. This is what I have so far.? I downsized a couple of schematics and printed the profile on some self adhesive label paper. Stuck the pic on a sandwich of two pieces of .080” styrene and filed it to shape. Then I punched some .080” discs and sanded them to a taper. I used the printout to mark the centerpoint and all the bolt holes on the .030” flanges. Little strips of .015”x.020” evergreen make up the gussets. It may not be correct, but it will look better than the MPC piece. I will use the MPC rear cover though.
  25. I’m not sure what model the starter one is, but you should spend a bit more (?) and get an H. There is no issue with the bottles coming loose, and like Don said, they are super easy to clean. I have never touched my Iwata eclipse since getting the Paasche. JMHO
