Beautiful colour!!!

That is one cool looking T!? I enjoy seeing real ones, but I wouldn’t want to own one….maybe a model though??
-
I figured I’d bump this thread since I’m working on a new one and there are a few other builds going on. Lots of inspiration here!? Here’s my one and only so far.

I’m not entirely sure yet what all I want to do to this one. I am chopping it and tubbing it for sure. I don’t know if I am going with or without fenders yet. I had fun chopping my last one, but I broke the A pillars while fiddling with it, so this time I pinned everything. I also cut out the entire A pillar and shortened it to fit the after-chop gap. I aligned the B pillar this time so I won’t need all the “sprue glue” that I used last time. A bit of shaping and a touch of putty should clean it up. Thanks for watching, and all comments welcomed as always.?

Board shouldn’t be confused with bored, which is a condition that this hobby can be a cure for.

Really nice work. That fringe work must have been tedious!? Is the “willys” script on the hood a decal? I don’t recall seeing it in the kit I built. -

You managed to make a pretty good looking hauler out of it despite the fitment and warpage issues. Well done Bob! ? -
Looking mighty fine!?

Ouch! I bet that hurt more than ripping off a bandaid.? Yes, a picture is worth a thousand words.

How much time do you spend at a modeling session?
NOBLNG replied to Joe Nunes's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
That’s exactly how I operate!? I am retired, so in the winter months, model building is nearly a full time job….and I’m lucky to get three or four done. I am lax in the planning stage and change my mind mid build often. So….to answer the original question….too much time for the results achieved.?But then again, I could be doing stupider things. -

Yes, nice start Dennis. What are you doing for a drivetrain? -
Out of the box chrome parts
NOBLNG replied to Kickstand's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I’m not as fussy as some folks since I don’t enter any contests. I will try to save the kit chrome and touch up the attachment points with Molotow if possible. I will strip all parts that should NOT be chrome….like carburetors and other engine accessories and paint them. -

Well this kit sure has its share of issues.? These are the wheels and tires that are pictured on the box art…but they don’t fit.? They are too wide to fit in the wheel wells.? I guess I’ll have to look for some skinnier tires, as widening the tubs and narrowing the track is more work than I want to put into this kit. Sorry folks…I’m just venting at this point.?♂️

“World of Wheels” is an annual car show that we have here in Winnipeg.
-
Ok, there is NO WAY that this 409 and trans are going to fit here.? Do i just clip these cross-member mounts back until I can squeeze the drivetrain in place?? The instructions I have downloaded are not for this specific kit…but?

You really need a blend of perseverance, patience and talent to obtain outstanding results in this hobby.

I have no experience with printed parts so I don’t know what’s going on with that crack? I will say you’ve got your work cut out for you smoothing out that body. It does have a good basic shape though. PM me if you need any detail pics of a 1:1. Good luck with her.? -

That is beautiful looking paint! You can see the slight colour difference. It certainly is frustrating when issues arise when you’re that far along. Otherwise she’s a beauty!? -
